Just got off the phone with a spectacular service representative named Aaron--sorry if I butchered your name, sir!! :P As is typical for me (and most people, I'm sure), I eagerly nodded my head and "signed my name on the line" without actually reviewing the contract when I came on board. Context: I might be moving in a couple of months. If I do, I won't be able to fulfill the 12-month term. I tried to satisfy my curiosity about canceling the contract early by logging into my account to look up the details, but I couldn't find the specifics. Fast forward to today's phone call! Aaron informed me that in this event, I would need to pay off the remaining months on the contract, but the rate would be prorated from $79.99 to $49.95 per month. Hearing this, I was pretty jazzed since I had expected to pay the $79.99 per month, plus an early cancellation penalty on top of that. I provided Aaron with some additional information about the areas I am considering moving to. He then informed me that because these areas do not host Ozarks Go, the remaining balance of my service contract would be erased upon cancellation. Ozarks Go's initiative to help in this case by offering to waive the remaining balance on my account is truly unheard of these days. As someone who manages two very busy health clinics, this is a similar strategy that I employ in my approach to managing my patients: be empathetic and see people as more than just dollar signs! Typically, when you do this, people will rave about your service and send others your way, which at the end of the day only increases your mindshare in the community you serve. More importantly, it's an opportunity to preserve the humanity in your business operations, increasing the chances for the next person to pay it forward. The TL;DR: Aaron was super polite and informative, and I couldn't be happier with my experience today!

Our internet went down again today, I called and they said the best they can do is get me on the schedule for Monday. This is the second time in less than 6 months that this has happened and for them to not be prepared for the busiest weekend with the Super Bowl is ridiculous. I had canceled my ozarksgo but, I kept my internet, and of course I had forgotten to return my equipment before 10 days. I had paid for the equipment unbeknownst to me. So when I took the equipment in I asked the young lady if they could refund my cc. She explained how they usually do credits. I asked if she would call and ask about a refund, and she did. Thankfully!! They let her know that they would issue me a check the following week. I'm not sure what that young ladies name is. She's in the Springdale office on Emma.
