It really is a poorly run company. It would be hard for me to dislike it more. I wish I had another option. My internet is down right now. Phone number on Google tells me it's only a sales number and if I call back my number will be blocked. Chat feature doesn't work on their website. It gives me another phone number. Doesn't work but gives me another phone number that gets me to a human after holding for 30m. On the phone with her for 15m and she hung up on me. I think on accident? Still of course, no internet.

If I could give this -10 stars I would. I've only had Windstream for a month and have had more problems than any other provider I've ever had but until this month they were the only one providing service to my area. I will be changing to the new provider with First Electric. My Windstream internet goes out 2-3 times per day, getting it set up was a nightmare and took over 2 weeks, when the wifi went out and wasn't coming back on I called the state side number we were given and was hung up on three separate times after pressing 2 for residential wifi. Then I called the support number and was told that it would take a WEEK to get someone out here to fix my wifi. I've now been on hold for 30 minutes because I said that a week was unacceptable and asked to speak to someone higher up. I'm a very nice person and I don't leave reviews like this ever because I try to give people the benefit of the doubt but this is ridiculous. I don't even know why I'm having to pay for this horrible service. So don't get Windstream unless you want bad service. Update: I've now been on hold for 2 hours and nothing, great customer service, really.

Unable to get support. Fiber internet stopped working after only one week . Can not get costumer support to answer the phone or get a techs out to help , however if you call to start a new service they answer the phone on the second ring. Lots of room fir improvements

Live in quitman, ar124 just south of ar107. Worst people i have ever given my money to. 60+ dollars a month for 10 megs and rarely get 6. Constant interruption or out coming out. Completely out means a week before someone will come out to the house. Still u will b charged for the whole month. Fiber coming soon and going to drop these thieves like a hot rock. Save your money wait for Fiber. Ask them how much they got in the infrastructure bill for rural internet?? Still on copper in the ground here. Waiting another week as we speak.

Probably the worst experience with any internet provider ever. They keep raising price for me on dial up, and I get no fast speeds because it's DIAL UP. I pay almost $90 for slow internet where as in my previous place of residence I was getting almost 1gb for that price. Also the 4am maintenance every day is seriously a buzzkill. And if that's not the worst of it, if I miss a payment I have to pay an extra charge for them to run my card through the phone, which I know of no company to do, AND I can't do it over the automated voice call. I have to usually wait till the next day to call them if I catch it on a weekday. Way to gouge your customers windstream. I can't wait to move and drop them forever. No wonder they went bankrupt.

Windstream has had won me back over with better customer service than I have ever received in the past. In the past the internet connection had many issues and customer service was difficult and slow to deal with. Recently Ashley helped me last week with some internet service issues and resolved them. Today Chris was following up on that call and was super helpful with some additional distinctions and questions to ensure we were taken care of and satisfied. He even invested the extra time to assist me with tips for using phone features to deal with pesky telemarketers. . Thanks for your help.

Lairs hike my bill up every month, after promising and advertising $40/month for 12 months. They raise it as high as $80 some months and are very hateful if you call for help
