About Our Professional Web Hosting Services
Chardonnay Golf Club offers a beautiful, challenging golf course located among 150 acres of vineyards as other natural elements. The course, which opened in 1991 and was designed by Algie Pulley, features lakes and streams and a variety of native flora and fauna. With several areas of the property designated as a wildlife preserve, sightings of a variety of bird species, including eagles, as well as rabbits, coyotes and foxes are common as you make your way through this beautiful course. From the tips, the course plays 6,948 yards, but there are five sets of tees, starting at just over 5,200 yards, making it very playable for all players.

Customer Reviews & Testimonials
This golf course nestled in Napa Valley offers a delightful blend of challenge and beauty. The course is well-kept, with varied fairways and thoughtfully positioned bunkers that create an engaging round for players of all skill levels. The surrounding vineyards provide a stunning backdrop, enhancing the experience. The staff is warm and helpful, contributing to an enjoyable outing. While the layout may present some difficulty for first-time players, it's an excellent choice for those seeking a memorable game amid breathtaking scenery.
As a course in the vineyard, Chardonnay does her job well. Take good advantage of the vineyard landscape, some holes are rather challenging, like Hole 7, certainly one of most difficult Par 5 ever, need to watch out the ditch in front of the green. The green of Hole 8 is whole another story, it's long and "slopey", and the course even set the flag at the turn of slope, surely full of fun. Comparing to Wente (another vineyard course at South Bay), Chardonnay is not that delicate, as some holes are not that "vineyard ", if you know what I'm talking about, but certainly worth playing here.
Worst greens I've ever played. About 1/2 inch of sand in traps then clay. Cart died on 15. Came and picked up the cart BUT DIDN'T BRING ANOTHER ONE! Finally got another cart on 18 tee. Hilly course so we had to take turns walking. Absolutely no effort whatsoever to make it right. Evidently same charge for 14 holes of cart as 18.i wish I could give zero stars.
One of the great public course values on planet earth. Golf in the vineyards at a challenging course for a very affordable rate. I think weekday mornings might be $60 with a cart or so. The course is challenging. Vineyards everywhere requires accuracy off the tee. The greens are funny shapes and not easily approached. Once you're on them they're sloped and fastish for a public course. They take some getting used to. One of the only courses in the USA featuring 6 each of Par 3s, 4s and 5s. How fun is that? One of my top 3 favorite courses under $100. The food at the restaurant is good. They have a grass practice tee. The only knock is you can't bring carts into the parking lot. Love this course
Played this course this morning. 92$ to play a course that had recently had the greens aerated. Was not told beforehand when the tee time was made, that the greens had been aerated. Bunkers were almost as hard as concrete. Most of the tee boxes hardly had any grass, mostly dirt and they were so hard we had to struggle to get a tee in the ground. The rough was deep and uncut. It was difficult to find our balls at times. Only positives were club shop personnel and fairways. This course is nowhere near worth the cost.
Playing here again after a long absence. The landscape & topology of the area contribute to a fun, challenging and attractive course (semiprivate). One of the more notable features are the extra large greens that allow so many different pin placements and forcing u to carefully select the right club (don't forget to factor in the wind, today it was upto 2 clubs) The fairway conditions are better than many public courses but still u will still see occasional browned out bare patches. The tee boxes for the most part are in decent condition. The rough is an adequate length to affect your shots. The extra large greens are in good condition and in combination with the contours and tiers make chipping & putting an interesting conundrum. A scenic and excellent test of golf.
First class experience and beautiful course, weaves throughout the vineyard. Very challenging, some of the greens were very tough to read, I loved it! . My only beef was they were very strict about certain things and were quick to scold you about it, not to help but to enforce. This was my first time playing this course, but that was the only negative for me.
I toured their event space for a potential party venue for a work event. Their staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable (ask for either Ruva or Irene). The space is lovely and versatile. Looking forward to hosting an event here!
