Poppy Sister Inn

We have stayed at this wonderful, beautiful B&B twice. Trisha, the owner, is lovely, responsive and a joy to talk to. We came up to purchase a couple of kayaks and wanted to be centrally located to the Lodi Lake and downtown. This home is perfectly situated for both. BIG BONUS--- Each room has a bathroom...not all B&B's do and it is a must for me :-). If you need a lot of counter space in the bathroom I would recommend the Downstairs Suite...We were just in town to kayak so I didn't have a lot of stuff but if I needed to use hair tools and needed good lighting for makeup, I would want to be in the Downstairs Suite. We stayed in the Master Suite and the Black and White Suite. Both rooms are nicely appointed and the beds are SOOOO comfortable. The entire home is clean and cozy, Breakfast was delicious both times and we enjoyed wonderful conversations with the other guests. Check in was very easy and the neighborhood was safe and quite. We had no worries about having our kayaks tied up to our truck overnight. We look forward to coming back!

Our location at this Inn was perfect. We walked to town, we were close to the venues we needed to get to. The flip side was the noise. It was LOUD. Between the trains and vehicles on the street, our sleep was rather poor. Our room was average, smallest bathroom and sink.. Breakfast was slightly redundant in that we had egg dishes 3 days in a row. Only Keurig for coffee, no pot. I commend our host for sharing her favorite wine with us one of the nights. We enjoyed talking to her and getting to know her.

Bed was a little small (queen for 2 tall people) Host was fabulous. Shared wine and brilliant conversation with us. Breakfast was great, coffee was ok. Porch was fun, fire pit didn't work. Walk to town was nice, about 15 minutes. However, so much was closed we didn't get to enjoy town. We were there a day before and after July 4th, which they take very seriously. I would recommend.

All six of us gave this hotel five stars. Cute, historic, comfortable and in a great location. The owner Tricia was very hospitable and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. Outside, there is a nice fire pit and a shady porch with rockers that was relaxing at the end of a long day of travel. Really delightful.

Stayed at Poppy Sister in for a family birthday party at Lodi Lake. Found this place on Trip Advisors. It was super close to downtown (walking distance) Trisha is the proprietor and she was a wonderful host! Her assistant, believe her name was Rebecca? made us a wonderful breakfast and we had a great talk. Rooms were spotless, room price great! Even saved us a parking spot as there was a Harvest Festival going on and there was no parking on any of the streets.....thanks Trisha

The whole experience was lovely, the house is lovely, the bed comfy and the breakfast was amazing! It was the best meal of my week long road trip-I highly recommend this lovely bed and breakfast! I walked around he neighborhood which was also lovely!

The location is perfect. It is just a few blocks from downtown. Breakfast was wonderful all 3 mornings. Tricia was spot on with all of her winery recommendations and Intel. We will definitely hope that she has room for us for our next visit. Hopefully soon

This is a great place to stay! It's close to downtown and if you are new to Lodi, Trisha will recommend places for you. I must have gluten free food and she even was able to help with that! The rooms are darling and breakfast (cooked by Trisha) is delicious. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with tree lined streets, we loved it. We enjoyed our visit with others during breakfast before taking off.
