After two attempts at trying to make my own website, I decided to look for a Web Designer and came across Kristen Lem's reviews and checked out her website. I was impressed by the visual body of work on her gallery of sites she had created. After speaking with Kristen, I knew I wanted to hire her to work her magic! She keeps you updated on regular basis with edits and pages she is working on, so you know what is going on at each phase of the website being built. Hiring is everything to a project's success and employing Kristen as a copyeditor was the best decision I made for my book. She elevated my writing to the next level and was thoughtful and thorough throughout. I originally reached out to her because I had seen a website she designed for Sparkle Tafao and I really loved so many of the elements on it; I felt that her style would translate really well to a project I was working on for Doll + Rocket. Working with her was so easy, she addressed all my concerns and answered all my questions...it was my first website from scratch so I had a lot of them. Side note, her writing is really top notch. I did my own writing, but the little snippets of her touch are probably my favorite stand out things on the site!

Kristen kept in regular contact with us on the website's progress every step of the way, and made the changes and additions we discussed to get us to the final site! There's not much that Kristen can't and isn't open to doing. From super straight and narrow technical writing, to logo creation, branding and desktop publishing, her talent bandwidth is excellent! She is a great communicator, collaborator and really listens to your project needs.
