Achadinha Cheese Company

This was one of the best tours I've had in my life. And I rarely enjoy organized tours in general. We had a work event organized for our team that I was hesitating about going to. But I'm happy I went. The tour is lead by the owner of the farm and it's fascinating to see how a relatively small operation functions. They love their animals and take great care of them. The amount of information I learned was days worth of processing afterwards. The tour ended with a lovely chat over a glass (or two) of wine and some cheese. A terrific experience. Highly recommended.

Attended one of the cheese making classes yesterday and loved her property and the cute animals... but we didn't make cheese and didn't learn much about cheese. She gave us milk curds to take home and gave us a tour of the property, which was very informational, but it wasn't a "cheese- making class".

Amazing experience. The tour and host were very informative. It is good to know where your food is coming from, how the animals are treated, what they eat, how the process works. If you are not vegan and only vegetarian, it's informative and reassuring. The cheeses are the best! Greek feta to perfection, kefir, yellow and white cheese, yum. The life of the farmers is so hard. From now on, I know where I will be getting my cheese and hopefully also my eggs! Highly recommend the tour!!!

Don't go . It was a terrible tour , it was a rip off. Standing outside in cold wind listening to a lady talk about her family more than 30 min ... I wish I could get back my $120 dollars we paid for 3 of us

This was an incredible farm! Family run, small, but full of life and Donna knew so much information! I am a person who knew nothing about farming or making cheese but Donna was a perfect guide helping me understand step by step how her farm functions and what processes her and her family ( animals and humans) go through in order to create the best cheese possible! This was most definitely a worth while trip and I would recommend the tour to anyone who is interested or just wants to know more about cheese!

Had a tour with my family. This place is a Working ranch. We arrived very early. No problem. Restroom available and a place to sit. Got a chance to pet the dogs and some goats nearby. Great tour by Donna. Lots of info on the cheese making process and farm living along with seeing some of their other animals. Excellent cheeses to taste and purchase after tour. Highly recommend!

What a great time my daughter and i had there. We loved it! Very informative and a great family business! Loved the baby cows and pigs! Great tasting at the end of tour. Went home with yogurt and cheese and curds. Thank you again for sharing your farm business with the public; otherwise we would never be able to experience anything like this. Thank you Donna, you were wonderful!

Seriously one of the best days we've had! Everything was beautiful and the cheese was delicious. The animals are very well taken care of and oh so adorable. They really have a good thing going here. We did the farm tour but will definitely be going back for the cheese class. Donna was an excellent host and added that much more to the tour.
