Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage

We stayed two nights Friday and Saturday. My wife enjoyed the spa. The room was spacious but very expensive. You do get a huge tub and walk in shower with two sinks and a private toilet behind it's own door. Great pool view. The steakhouse was very good and had reasonable prices. The gaming was not bad we actually had a great time and enjoyed the different slots and roulette table. Employees were nice and they offered free valet. Tips appreciated. I would definitely visit again.

The rooms are very expensive for a casino and the casino machines are very tight! 2 ticket winners on $1300 spend! The rooms are very nice, though! The steak house is overpriced as well, $70 for 7 oz fillet, and the cafe is understaffed. Even though it was empty, we had to wait over 15 minutes to sit down. We just ate at the bar, and the dude seemed really disinterested in helping us! The breakfast was actually very good, coffee was delicious, the food was hot and plentiful! The spa was in line with the expense of the facility, over $300 for a massage, ouch! They do have valet service, but make sure you call down in advance or it will take a minute to get your car! The bell service was quick and efficient. I did like the fact they allowed us to check in before 4 pm, we arrived at 1 pm, and they let us check in! Their business model appears to want to cater to the rich and famous, and that is not us! You would think, like most casinos, the gaming offsets some of the margin on other services!!! That is not the case at this property! They want to charge you top dollar for all services even though they are taking your money in the casino! First and last time staying there!

For what it's worth... We went there for a concert and for a weekend room, double queen, normal view, it was extremely expensive. Were the rooms nice? Yes, they were nice, but nothing hugely special. We had a room with a great soak tub in the bathroom. Very nice. But again, nothing over the top that would justify the $700 price for one night. It wasn't the penthouse. We paid it because we didn't have much choice after the concert, unwilling to drive home that late. The casino, however, is very clean. The Show is a lovely venue. Wasn't hugely crowded, which is also nice. Overall, a nice casino with overpriced rooms, so it's a mixed bag. I would recommend staying there if it wasn't so pricey.

This resort has everything you could hope for. There are several restaurants that are very good. I especially love the pool with the waitress service. The gaming is pretty good and there were many to choose from. The hotel room was nice and comfortable and there is plenty of parking. There's also a good gas station across the street..

I stayed at the hotel May 12-13. we got a room with a balcony not knowing that meant a lower floor room. the room itself was nice. we were on the second floor which unfortunately meant we had to listen to all of the construction going on outside early morning. We weren't made aware of any construction going on or we would have requested a room without a balcony assuming it'd be a floor more higher up and without as much noise. we woke up very exhausted having to nap in our cars and skip out on breakfast and gambling. Also, we asked a worker where the gym was and he was unable to locate it for us. Valet and front desk staff were very nice tho.

My husband & I have visited the Sunstone Spa for years and love the ambiance. This time we decided to splurge and stay at the resort and it was fantastic! Eric at the reception desk was so kind and professional, I had requested an early check in and he accommodated us and allowed us to check in at 11:30 instead of 4:00. The room was beautiful and spacious with wonderful amenities. All in all our stay was very enjoyable.

Do not go to this casino unless you're a white and/or a senior. I came to go to a concert but obviously should of did some research because "black people" are not SAFE here! I am a 53 year old black woman who was scheduled for hip replacement so I can't be that dangerous, I was escorted out the concert and the casino surrounded by their security and 2 sheriff all because I said something BACK to an obvious VIP racist there. He told me "my nappy hair was blocking his view and I should be happy he didn't knock me out"... I reached out to them yesterday and this morning and they basically said SO WHAT! I spent hard earned money in this economy just to be treated like trash. I was by myself! A very nice gay couple were the only one to come to my defense and left early after seeing it all go down without him and his husband I would of been arrested. I would NEVER recommend this casino to anyone but especially black people. I will stick to Morongo or Yamava if I ever decide to go to a casino in this area again. I'm sure that's exactly what Aqua Caliente prefer- Message received. Knowing that Native Americans have adopted the behavior of colonizers for $$$ is disturbing

This was the worst experience ever. It was my husband's birthday and his dad just passed away. The power went out at the casino and we had put over $400.00 Into the slot machine at the bar top. We sat there with other guests waiting for over three hours to have someone come by to just take our name down on a notepad in hopes of getting our money back. Not only did the employee come up aggressively but was very rude about the situation but compared her dog dying to my father-in-law passing and told us we "might" get our money in the mail. Considering that there were so many people waiting for a slot attendant to come and never informed of what was going on sitting at broken machines for over three hours this was a major problem on the casino's behalf. This was the worst experience I've ever had. I just called and they told me to call back in 10 minutes because the slot technicians are unavailable. So they basically stole all our money.
