We had our wedding at Domenico Winery in San Carlos this past January, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we started planning to the final moments of our wedding night, the entire team went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. Bruna, our wedding coordinator, was incredible to work with. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for our event made all the difference. She guided us through every step, ensuring that all logistics were seamless and that we felt fully supported throughout the process. Karla, the sales manager, was also fantastic in helping us get everything set up from the very beginning. She was thorough, accommodating, and made sure we had everything we needed to bring our vision to life. One of the most impressive aspects of Domenico Winery was how well they helped coordinate all of our outside wedding vendors. We had a lion dance team for entertainment, an outside DJ, outside catering, a boba cart, and our own florist and designer. Despite working with multiple external vendors, the Domenico team ensured that everything ran seamlessly. From set-up to execution, their coordination was flawless, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without any stress. The venue itself is stunning--Domenico Winery offers a warm, intimate, yet elegant setting that was perfect for our celebration. The wine barrel room added such a unique and romantic ambiance, and our guests couldn't stop raving about the atmosphere. The bar staff and service team were equally fantastic, providing exceptional hospitality that made everyone feel well taken care of. From our preliminary planning meetings to the final timeline coordination, everything was executed perfectly. The flexibility and dedication of the Domenico team allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in our wedding day, knowing that every detail was in expert hands. We highly recommend Domenico Winery to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with an outstanding team. This is truly one of the best hidden gems in the Bay Area--a five-star experience that delivers exceptional quality at an unbeatable value. Visited Domenico for a work event. Everyone else enjoyed the wine as I don't drink but the food was delicious. Atmosphere was nice and they catered our event really well. They were able to accommodate for my dietary restrictions.

This review is for Domenico Winery Catering/Events team. We just had our 150 person wedding with Domenico Winery this past weekend. Cannot say enough good things about the venue & event planning team. We worked with Karla throughout the entire planning process & she was so professional, sweet, organized & responsive, answering all of our MANY questions for the event over e-mail & phone. Their catering team is top of the line - we had multiple guests tell us it was the best wedding food they have ever had, which we agree with! We elected buffet style to save a little $$ and would do again in a heartbeat -- we had chilean sea bass (literally the best dish), short ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, salad, pasta -- all wedding favorites that our guests loved. We even had a few allergies & vegans in our crowd and Domenico happily did plates for them w/o extra cost or fees. Their bar team was top of the line as well -- we opted for classic margarita & twisted peach tea, we were even allowed to bring in our preferred tea (Lipton) so they could make cocktails with it & they had no problem accommodating this request. The actual venue in itself was perfect for us. We loved that they had an actual bar and that it was all in one room - made it easy to keep everyone together & watch kids attending the wedding. We loved the modern/industrial feel of the venue & that they have modern market lights strung throughout & the cask wall -- it allowed for us to do minimal decor/purchases overall which saved us $$. The catwalk was amazing for entrances & such a moment we used it 2-3 times throughout the night! We loved that Domenico was a catering/venue too as we didn't have to worry about coordinating any of the food/catering or event set up. All we had to worry about was minor decor items and any extras we wanted -- made wedding planning very easy! While we did spend quite a bit of money for our wedding, I do think this venue is rather underrated/hidden gem in the Bay Area Peninsula if you want a winery feel without going to Napa/Sonoma or Paso Robles. We ultimately chose Domenico as we wanted a local wedding with that feel without having our family traveling too far or spend $100k+ We feel that what we spent we definitely got back in service/care, quality & experience and that it was worth every penny. We would do with them in a heartbeat again & can't recommend them enough to future couples who are looking to get married here. Thanks Domenico for helping us with our dream wedding! We love you!

For a place that's off the beaten path, I and pleasantly surprised how popular this place is. Try the wine flight which was pretty delicious consisting of mostly reds this time around. I wound up becoming a member because because of the perks especially if you are local. Pleasantly surprised that they also have pizzas and fresh desserts available. I especially love having the Focaccia of the day. You never know what delicious flavor combination they will have that goes with their family olive oil. The garlic fries are awesome as well. I highly recommend having Sunday brunch, but make sure you make reservations. I'm digging the comedy shows and the half off Pizzas for football Sundays! I joined their wine club when I first dined there and have never regretted it. Every quarter, you pay for 2 bottled of either red, white, or a combination. But you get other perks too like a free flight up to 4 people when you visit. There are also deals on take out food orders. Lastly, wine pick up are parties are awesome when they have them!

Unfortunately we planned our Mother's Day brunch here based on a specific call out to a Mother's Day celebration on OpenTable. Our reservation was for 8 at 1:00pm. We arrived early and we're seated. We ordered drinks and appetizers. By 2:00 no food has been delivered to us or any of the tables around us. I spoke to the hostess, our waiter and the owner who offered us champagne and I asked for bread but after another 20 minutes, still nothing. We decided to finally leave since we were told the kitchen was super backed up. Super unfortunate that we had 3 mothers that didn't get to have a great meal and celebrate and we had to make alternate last minute plans. I get things happen but we should have someone at our table with wine and snacks trying to smooth things over.

We attended a super fun corporate Christmas party that was held here. We got dropped off by an Uber, but it looked like there was a little bit of parking and a public cafe next-door. The space itself was lined wall-to-wall with wine barrels that gives it some texture and ambience, but otherwise it's a big square. The way that it was set up was classy and unique to the business holding the event. There was a bar set up and a bunch of stations with different food. I don't know if it was the food from the winery because it appears they serve Italian food there and we had a variety of options from around the world, including a very Lovely multistation dessert bar. There was a coat check area as well.

Awesome time and a worthy gamble at a lesser known winery. They are doing fascinating stuff and Kelly showed me such a good time with great wine and conversation. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend. Very friendly, professional staff and very helpful in our on-site setup changes. Came for holiday party and it was very nicely decorated, good sound system, and great food. Definite recommend for company and wedding/reception events. Only catch is the very limited parking lot spaces and also limited street parking. Highly recommend to use Uber/Lyft.
