I came to Kim for website help when I realized that my old site (built on a Wix template) wasn't going to cut it anymore as my resume writing business rapidly grew. I'd heard about Kim through a resume writing colleague who highly recommended her (and whose website I loved the look of). This whole experience was so pleasant and easy! I don't think I initially realized just how much of a project a new website is, but Kim led me through each part in a logical and organized way. The communication was top-notch throughout the process, and she had no problem explaining things when I didn't understand. I really appreciated Kim's clear emails and her Loom video tutorials. Kim also helped me set up my HoneyBook CRM pipeline/automations for the first time. Even though I had purchased HB months earlier, I'd gotten stuck and hadn't actually done anything with it--so she saved me a lot of hassle and taught me how to take advantage of its features. It's completely transformed my business. Clients and colleagues have remarked about how my website is both striking and easy to navigate. I sprung for the monthly care package, so Kim continues to be available to help when I have questions or issues (like I did today when HB mysteriously disconnected from my iCal). She made time to meet on Zoom and quickly resolved the issue. Alpha Webworks is an awesome company that helped us restructure and fix the coding. Kim Blake is the owner and designer that knows her craft extremely well. We have had a lot of other companies that do website support but they nickle and dime you to death. Kim doesn't do that and she is extremely knowledgeable with all of the details surrounding updating plugins when using a CMS system. She also helped correct our site to be accessibility compliant which would be a bear to deal with. When there is an issue, she is able to get things corrected right away. Our site went down in a bad way one time because of an update with a plugin that we loaded and there wasn't a solution except or a roll back and restore. We wanted to move forward with the update because it provides upgraded security and functionality but was stuck with the issues. Kim helped us figure this out quickly, and had us up and running right away, providing a temporary solution until the full remedy was implemented. Kim is also able to help us design and brainstorm for a more inclusive, and build logic into the site for a better customer experience.
