Gurdwara Sahib Yuba City

The Gurdwara Sahib in Yuba City is a beautiful and serene place for worship and community gatherings. Religious place which could never be rated, you get what you seek there. This time of year that is first weekend of November is considered to be one of the biggest get together in American history for Nagar Kirtan here known as Sikh Parade. Over 100k visitors across the world come here to pay their respect and taste rich and vibrant colours of Punjabi culture. Free food, large number of volunteers and religious faith makes it an experience. Local shops and fire works add more festivity to the occasion.

I really forgot that I was in the US when I visited this place. Such a peaceful and blessed place. Langar was also awesome. You can call Mini Punjabi to Yuba City. Almost More than 20k Punjabis are there.

The Sikh Temple of Yuba City in Yuba City, California was opened on October 21, 1969 and serves over 20,000 Sikhs in the area which is home to many Sikhs and Punjabis. The Gurdwara has a main Langar hall and prayer hall.

Must visit during November month for first Sikh Guru birthday celebration.
