Adaptive Internet

Terrible service, lack of response, zero care. If you use them, you will have to request them to reset their side repeatedly. And, heaven forbid, if it happens on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, because you'll never get an answer until Monday. Too bad for you, if you need the internet for your job. They care NOT AT ALL when people have issues or even when you leave but they are dang sure quick to come get their non-functioning equipment. Avoid.

One star is too many. It is anathema to me that this company hasn't been investigated and charged with fraud. Charging exorbitant fees for intermittent, unreliable service that never approaches the speeds advertised and directed at those who have no other option. Predatory would best describe their business model. With conduit being laid for cable/fiber-optic, it is my hope this company will soon fold. Avoid at all costs.

As it the case with many of the reviews here, I also have had a great deal of difficulty with customer service - particularly over the last two months when I've tried to contact them regarding the unstable and unreliable service they are providing. I've left messages daily for Gwen over the last ten days in an effort to get credit since I'm not receiving the bandwidth I'm paying for and conclude she's avoiding returning my call. It's reported that there are challenges with some of the hardware within the system and they are "working on it" - a consistent refrain when calls are made inquiring about the loss of service. If that is the case, there is zero communication from the company to explain the challenges they are facing which would seem pretty basic to keeping customers informed and to promote good will. I now suspect that Adaptive has oversold their capacity to serve customers on their network which is most unfortunate as it was so promising to have what first appeared to be decent service in this neighborhood.

I have had two other internet companys and Adaptive is by far my favorite. They are there for you, if lines are down you get an email or fb notification. Customer Service by phone is awesome. Don't have to press 1 for whatever. Someone actually answers the phone and is quite pleasant. Set price. only went up $5.00 in quite a few years I have been with them. Piss poor service and slow speeds (8mbps), rating less than one star. I asked to cancel my service and without any correspondence of if my service was cancelled or not, they sent techs to my home to remove the dish. They trespassed on my property and roof, without permission and no one home, to remove just the dish (that was on my home when I bought it) leaving me with all the cables and stand sticking out of my roof unsealed.

Awesome service. I was able to finish two degrees on line since I started using Adaptive without worries about service interruptions. Everyone is so friendly and kind when you call in. Your service has gotten HORRIBLE. I used to recommend you. Not so much now. Internet is so slow I use my phone and turn off WIFI. Watching a TV program is almost impossible. What has happened to your service?????? People are moving to other companies. With what we (and others) pay you should be able to fix the problems.

Great service at reasonable prices. No phone line required! Set up appointment was scheduled like the day after I called, the installer knew what he was doing and got everything set up quickly. He also answered several questions for us. We've had the service for almost a year now and I can count the number of outages on one hand (with a finger or two left over)
