If I could give a 0 I would. Our service drops all the time and with no communication about why. If you are able to reach them they blame the router and threaten to charge you for a service call if they come out. Most of the time when trying to call them, they never answer the phone and after ringing 50 times it goes to a voice mail that is FULL. Ridiculous. Cancelling if I could ever get someone to answer the phone.

I called and also left a message from their website to find out if I could get service at my house. After a couple attempts to talk to someone, they said they could come out and see if service was available. I had just purchased a new router so when they came out to check, they were not sure if mine would work. I decided that I would try them, so I called back but the call went straight to hold music. I left a message again on their website with no response. I eventually got a bill for them to come out to see if I was in an area where I could get service. I tried again to get a hold of someone by phone and again on the website. Never had a response back. Nowhere on the website does it say they have a service charge to come out and see if they can provide service. I was not told on the phone either that they would charge to come out. Even though I had an issue with the charge, I wanted to give them a try. I could not seem to get anyone to call me back and it is difficult to get a hold of anyone. Recently when I tried again to call, it went straight to the hold music. After 5 minutes, I hung up. I read on several of the reviews that customer service is not great and they are hard to get a hold of. I have since changed my mind. If they cannot return my messages when I wanted to try the service, I can't imagine what it would be like if I did have the service and I needed help but could not get it. Edit: Got a call from them and were very apologetic. Appreciated the call. They will be coming out to install the service. Lets see how it is.

Been with these guys for quite awhile now, had a major drop in speed. Gave them a call, the same day they were out here, got it all aligned up properly again and speed is back to where it was. Couldn't ask for any better service. Thank you guy!

After 30 years in this home and multiple attempts at obtaining quality, reliable internet service, I have found the best! The big box companies make it nearly impossible to speak to a real human being and their hardware is less than current. They were so bad that over the years, including last week, I have discontinued service simply because the customer service was even worse than the internet 'service' they claim to provide. Now! Grand Valley Telecommunications to the rescue! They listen, they respond, they are polite, timely, their rates are good and the internet connection is....RELIABLE! I am simply thrilled to be back with a local company. THANK YOU!

Apparently its the customers responsibility to track down invoices for services rendered. Should customers just send checks to you with no account number? They dont send you invoice for months then unhook your service with no notification for "delinquent services". We paid our invoice once we were sent one, but to late, they snuck out one day while gone and unhooked us. It worked out for the better though, we found a cheaper friendly service. Almost $20 month cheaper for same speed so thanks! We will let all our Loma friends know of the better service option!

Unprofessional, unreliable, unusable, they promise 20mb downloading speed for their residential service. I never could get test results above 13mb, and that was late, late at night. Also from the start there were billing problems and the customer service is non existent. Should have known from the start, their installation technician was an entire day (24 hours) late! Problems from the start, I'm changing my service to another carrier because now (6months later) my internet turns on for 30 seconds and off for 20 seconds. I looked it up online and it is a ploy internet providers use to save bandwidth. I have had it with their unprofessional, service, customer service and overall product. I miss spectrum! Dear Grand Valley Telecommunications, this is exactly what I am talking about. You see a negative comment outlining to you a number of things that can be done to improve your customer service, and instead of contacting me directly, (you have my phone number) to render assistance and help a customer, you choose to attack me for my comments about your spotty service and horribly poor customer service. Someday you will see why this is a problem. I will be returning your equipment to your offices down town on the 26th as the 27th is my start/end of service date. Update: the 27th is Sunday so I'll be there Monday. Also since I left this review, the next day my service started working fine. No problem with hardware, not the radio, not the router, not the cable, nothing changed except your company stopped limiting bandwidth, the very practices you protest that you don't do. I find it dishonest what you are doing, and I'm glad to be rid of you and your service. Update: I returned their equipment and all they wanted to do is attempt to engage me in a dialogue where they tried to turn the responsibility for their horrible service back on me. Beware and do not hire these people they are not interested in anything that resembles customer service.

This company has worked with me when I have had late payments and helped me keep my service going. They have improved their customer service and technical support significantly over the past year and a half that I've had service with them. One of the technicians even came out when it was the end of the day and worked late to repair our service and give us a brand new modem at no additional charge. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

When I call GVT for anything I'm met with a very helpful and cheery attitude from the office manager, who seems willing to figure out whatever I need!! Thanks!!
