Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Weblium has SOOOO much potential, but it seems that development has come to a halt the last couple of years. I must have submitted over 100 basic feature requests over the years and I don't think even 1 has been implemented. They REALLY had a solid chance at competing against the big dogs, but it looks like they prioritized the AI integration which we find useless due to the ease of use generating content externally where you can chat with the AI and get exactly what you want. Which brings up a point, you can't even copy/paste into the blog feature... There's no way they're going to compete against Shopify, so they should focus more on multi-purpose, blogging, and local businesses IMO. In short, I'd say THEY'VE LOST THEIR VISION OF BEING THE FASTEST WEBSITE BUILDER. None-the-less, I love the team and still believe in and support this product, but here's my breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: -Eeeeeeeeasy to get up and running! -Amazing modern templates, powered by years of experience that comes from their sister company Template Monster -They have an web development agency that can assist, but note, booking help isn't integrated into the backend. -Staging system powered by one of their older products "Draftium" where customers can leave comments, but note: You don't get notified when comments are made... -Solid list of integrations, including with forms. -Support is very quick to respond! -Agency support -Some speed optimization is built in, something the original CEO promised they'd continue to improve. Cons: -Meta title character limits (Google doesn't limit this for SEO, why do you? There's already a preview feature, so why limit this. I had to purchase a seperate meta title SAS to make this usable.... -No global blocks outside of menu WHYYYY LOL. This is #1 priority IMO. -Can't easily paste HTML to create a blog -No heading 4 tag option!!!! -Limited two-level navigational menu -Limited two-level page nesting in editor. For example, you can't next /services/service-1/sub-service without manually changing URLs which make organizing sites and remembering URL patterns a challenge for consistency. -No token feature that references the name of the pages in the backend, which makes it take SOOO much longer to create content with AI. On Wordpress and Drupal there are referenceable fields that you can name a location, for example, then use that token, say {page_name} in your prompts to scale content and titles quickly for local pages. This way, you can clone a page and have fields dynamically replaced given the page name, saving you time to update fields everywhere, so this is certainly part of building a fast ecosystem. -No feature to import redirects, or auto redirect on URL change -No conditional form fields or global forms! -No template for coupons (we had to code these with chatgpt), given how easy these things are to implement it drives me crazy they don't get done, especially if I can do it myself with AI. -There's a ton of minor formatting options missing, in short, it's harder to customize things how you want them on this platform, but they did release a "flex" block that is helpful for some customizations. -You can't drag blocks between sections unless they were originally created inside of the section. -Missing A LOT of schemas that could easily be implemented into existing blocks, author, blog, FAQ, areas served, etc. -Map integration is still bugged, has been since launch lol. -Hosting used to be "unlimited" on the Google Cloud, but this seems to have been changed, but there's no clear documentation of the limits and how to increase them. -No longer a public roadmap which is a redflag. -It hard to find who's in charge of decision making here, they seem to have been through A TON of CEOs. Let your roadmap be public, let users upvote, and put your leadership team front and center across your brand(s), this would be step one, but the sooner you can get back to being the fastest website builder the better IMO> Hope this help someone either at Weblium or someone thinking about using their service.
Great product, but desperately needs global forms. We have to change the contact for manually across every page because.
30 seconds, that's how long it took to get a response from support, kind, fast, and precise, try getting that with the competition... if you're lucky, you'll wait 3 days.
The service is misleading with the free domain offered during registration. Discounts for purchasing an annual subscription do not apply.
Amazing website builder, I recommend it to everyone. Everything is very convenient and easy to do, you can implement any idea or design. Special thanks to the technical support team for their help - they responded at any time of the day and even on weekends and public holidays. If you need a business or personal website, I definitely recommend it)
The account was blocked through one website, without the possibility of editing or restoring access. I did not violate the company's rules. A very strange approach. It's a pity for the time wasted.
Great experience. Build two websites with Weblium - user friendly, quick to build, intuitively interface, and fast and helpful support from the Weblium team, which is invaluable to me. Happy to use their service
Love the platform and pretty easy to manipulate for someone with no formal IT training. Only issue for me, is finding an affiliate tracking program that can easily be integrated into my site.
