Drake Midtown

Drake is the best complex in Lake Mary! The atmosphere is like that of a resort: quiet and well maintained. The office staff always has time to listen to us and they try to do what's best for all the residents. Maintenance guys are quick and friendly and considerate, going above and beyond to make life here comfortable! The staff do a wonderful job keeping the property ship shape, despite some residents who obviously don't care about keeping the place nice by leaving shopping carts in the halls, smoking on site, or failing to pick up pet waste. However any inconvenience, after nearly 4 happy years (and hopefully more to come!) we tell everyone that this place is our dream home.

My friend and I were greeted warmly upon arrival by Danielle even though we did not have an appointment. We were toured throughout the beautiful community and shown 2 apartments of different size. I'm currently trying to negotiate my lease in Winter Park so that I can return to Lake Mary. The Drake appears to be a wonderful place to call home!

I had a great & easy experience touring & applying for a unit with Dannielle! She was patient with my 100 questions & took her time explaining the property & all it offers in detail. Madison was also very professional & I appreciated her assistance with the process as well. Thank you Ladies - I look forward to becoming a resident in the near future!

I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Drake Midtown. When I first toured the apartment with Danielle, I was assured that the administration fees would be refunded if my application was not approved. However, it has been more than two months, and I have yet to receive my refund or even an explanation as to why my application was denied. I find this lack of transparency deeply concerning, especially since my attempts to reach both Danielle and management have been completely ignored. No one answers my calls or responds to my messages, which is extremely unprofessional. This experience has been stressful, disheartening, and frankly, unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering this community. If this is how they treat potential residents, I can only imagine how they handle actual tenants.

This was my first apartment and Dannielle was SOOO amazing! So helpful and patient she answered all my 1000 questions and was just so understanding. I love her she is one of the reasons why I can call this place home. My neighbors above me are horrible but other than that its good

I love the atmosphere, and the area. The workers were extremely nice and friendly, they helped me to understand the different floor plans. Even helping me and my sister to get different ideas of apartments and to see where we want to go.

Just renewed for my 3rd year. All of the staff is great. Madison, the new girl at the front desk and maintenance guys are awesome. The new manager leaves a lot to be desired.

I had a great tour of the facility and was quite impressed with all of the extra spaces and rooms for residents to use, other than their own apartment. I especially like the movie room! The apartment layouts were quite inviting, and the nearness of the shops and restaurants is a definite plus. Unfortunately, my personal preference is toward light and bright decor, which I didn't see in the units I visited. That is a personal preference, however.
