I have bought my turf signs from Turf Brands for years. Best quality stakes I have ever had. About a year ago I ordered door hangers and brochures. The brochures were very poorly printed. I was promised a reprint that never happened. Still I just recently tried to re- order turf signs and give them another opportunity to keep my business. No one will return my calls, emails, voicemails. They have all of my artwork that I paid alot of money to have done hostage and wont give it to me. Now, I am forced to find someone to redo all of my artwork to try and match it to my companies brand that has been around for years. Piss poor business practices.

No Customer Service - I have called and called and sent numerous E-Mails to TurfBrands for the last two weeks and no one has gotten back to me. This is the worst business encounter that I have had since I started our business in 1999. I will fine another company.

I started Turfbrands with Brett Melanson from Pie. He was my customer and he treats lawns under the name plant it earth pie and i printed his lawn posting signs for him. I started turfbrands with Brett and Steve Redden. Brett quickly screwed over Steve Redden with a one sided contract. He gets his attorneys to make it so he can throw you out of the company whenever it is successful so he can keep the profits after it is built and employees also. I printed all the marketing materials on my dime and had the step stakes made in China. I manufactured the products and made the mistake of letting him handle the money and customers. After a year of marketing the signs and promoting the company he decided to vanish when he got sued from one of his fertilizer vendors. I tried numerous times to reach him at his office but with no luck. Then he was forced to pay the fertilizer company in court 350,000.00 and he decided to steal our $65,000.00 step stake order that had been diverted to his PIE company. When i confronted him on it he said he did not trust me with them. At the same time he got in to me for 25,000.00 in printing charges that i was doing for the company at cost no profit. He would triple my price. I charged our company the signs at .09 cents and the stakes at .05 cents and he tripled the price and sold to the end user for doing nothing but taking a credit card. His own Accountant told me about his dealings and warned me to get away from him. He also would give checks to his girlfriend out of the company. When i finally got a hold of him by stopping production of signs for non payment, he got his attorney to try to fire me out of the company that i started with him and tried to sue me. He hired 2 of my employees amel samuels and my secretary Vanessa. I was told by his family he was not trustworthy but i was fooled by him and got conned into printing at cost, thinking he would split the profits with me. If you order from turfbrands he is just a middle man. He claims to be a printer but he is not. He orders his printing from the cheapest printer he can get it from. He calls me an imposter, when he is the imposter claiming to be a printer. Brett Melanson is going so low as to call my wife names and me just to persuade people not to order from me because my price is lower and product is better. He hates all lawn care companies that compete with him, he thinks he owns all the customers in the world. I welcome competition not hate on it.... I won't use this to promote my company like he does just to tell the truth and nothing more. Call some of his competitors and ask them there opinions, or better yet call his brothers that are in the same industry.

I wish I could give negative stars. We have been waiting for 2 months to get our order. Their customer service does not respond to emails or phone calls. I was promised by a "Manager" that I would receive tracking information last Thursday for the order I placed in March, and still have not received anything, despite sending another email and leaving a voicemail. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If we treated our customers this way, we would have been out of business a long time ago.
