Huge Domains

I don't know how a company like this can exist and live with themselves. This is a perfect example of a practice that is legal but 100% immoral. If you have a domain name and forget to renew it, they will buy it up for a few dollars and then offer to sell it back to you for $1000s. How can they even advertise "customer service?" They probably only make money for selling domains back to huge corporations (with no doubt the person in charge of renewing getting fired), but it's so so sad for the small businesses who need their domain names but can never afford to buy them back. This should be illegal - it's price gouging.

Terrible customer service... I've been trying to contact sales in regards to a domain for three days straight, over 10 phone calls each day, on hold for 4 minutes every call before their system auto ends the hold and forces you to leave a voicemail (Never calls back). Do the math - that's 2+ hours of time I will never get back simply trying to contact this company. I am interested in purchasing a domain that they own so there's no way around them, not to mention it was previously my domain but I let it expire and now have to repurchase at 150x my original purchase price. Oh yeah, and they also conveniently more than doubled the cost from the already 4 figure price point of the domain days after I am looking into it and evaluating if the website is something I even wanted to pursue at the time. LOL, pls call me back and take my $$

After reading the reviews i was super nervous however I made a payment plan and 6 months later when i was done the domain was transfer automatically. Easy and transparent transaction. The negative reviews are mostly about people losing their domains. If you dont payup you lose the domain, that is how the domain system works.

Before your purchase a domain they say they will send you an email 2-4 hours after your buy it with the domain detail, but after you buy it they change their word to 24-72 hours. Why deceive people and potentially diminish their trust on you? Just say from the begining these things take time and you will deliver the domain code/settings in 24-72 hours.

The ethics behind this business model is downright shameful. Preying on people that don't know any better and then extorting at insane multipliers to them to keep their domain is immoral. I don't know how the owners sleep at night.

This company just buys up website names to extort people's money. They don't really produce anything of value for society.

Uses unethical methods and bots to steal domains from people. When a previously registered domain goes into 30 days grace - holding period they have ways to pull them from the grace period before the 30 days. This means if your CC expires unbeknownst because you have it on auto-renew every three years so the domain fails to renew, these guys can swoop in and steal domains that nobody else cares about accept for the individual who held the domain and then basically hold it hostage. They're no different than ransomware. Well joke is on them, they will have my domain FOREVER because it contains part of my name and is specific to industry.. There aren't anymore of me.

I bought an expensive domain. They transferred it immediately to a NameBright account they created for me, where I could set it up. After 60 days I was able to transfer it to my own registrar. Given the many bad reviews, I was a little hesitant to fork over several thousand dollars, but it seems to have all gone fine.
