AAA Lady Lake at the Villages

Dana and Marguerite were EXTREMELY helpful. I called AAA in CA to tell them that I was moving to FLORIDA. They told me that they changed my address and expect a new Florida AAA card 'shortly.' Almost a month past and no card. Evidently this process was not processed properly. Marguerite and Dana were patient and empathetic. They wanted to make sure that I had coverage in my new state so they made sure that they got my transfer to Florida completed. Lovely and helpful ladies. THANK YOU!!!!

Worst customer service of any travel agency! Unresponsive management!

I've had AAA for almost 30 years. In all that time, I've never had an issue. However, last night I had a flat tire which required a tow. I called them at 7:26 PM. The intake lady was incredibly rude. They said, after I waited an hour for a call back to update me on pick up time, that no one was available and that they would call and update me. After another hour I called again. They again said no one was available. I let them know that I wasn't in the best area (the grocery store near me is shady at night) and that I'd been waiting for two hours just for a time. Multiple phone calls, multiple rude people later I get a text from Elite stating that they would be there in an hour and to expect a call. After waiting a half hour I call Elite directly. They state that the driver is on their way and I'm their first stop. A half hour later I get an update texted with a new arrival time of 2:00 AM. I call elite, they state their guy doesn't get in until 11 and I was the first stop but that there was a car blocking traffic. It's now 10:50 PM. I again let them know that I'm stranded in the cold in a not great location where a large group of homeless people hang out and that they are frequently drugged up. They say "sorry it's gonna be 2:00 AM." I call AAA one lady was nice. Maggie. She was horrified I'd been there so long. Eventually Elite driver calls. He is outraged that I've been there for 5.5 hours waiting on a truck. 5 tows had passed us while we sat there. He was excellent. He stated AAA is getting worse and worse to their customers. He towed me home. This morning I got another tow to get the tire fixed. The driver asked what happened and I told him the whole story. He again stated that AAA is getting ridiculous and very hard to work with and for customers to deal with and stated he'd never heard of anyone having to wait that long in that bad of a situation before. He said if it had been his daughter he'd be furious. He towed me to the tire place and was excellent. I got to the tire place. They asked me what happened. I told them the whole story. The man was horrified and again stated that AAA have, in his words, "become a bunch of hackney clowns." I called the complaint line today. I called them at about 9:00 AM. The gentleman on the line was kind, he did promise a call back soon with a resolution to the horrible rudeness and long wait. I explained how that was promised over and over last night and not delivered on. He assured me I'd get a call back. It's now 1:07 PM and I have received no call back. I recommend that everyone look into alternative roadside assistance programs and don't bother with AAA unless you feel like possibly putting your life in danger and wasting time and money. I'm sure I'll get no resolution to this. It's apparently not a secret in the repair world. Two of the three places that stated how bad AAA is getting were contracted by AAA. The third one, the garage, was not, and they were excellent as well.

"Closed due to weather" 3 days before the hurricane arrives is ridiculous. Bad customer service despite overall a good company.

Very unprofessional agents there , this office should elaborate in advertising that they ONLY handle insurance issues no roadside questions no guidance on what department just call the 800 number I can't help....smh it's no wonder the BBB has them at a 1.5 star rating ....and poor elderly folks saying they had to walk in the dark because of no help or response until 3+ hrs just for gas or tire requests .... Sad just sad
