Schacht Groves

Was looking for organic fruits & veggies & located this out in the boonies lil' market.. really quaint, great price, nice place to relax & enjoy the spectacular view. The lake had huge turtles & a sling shot for entertainment.. really neat spot, glad I found it!!

This is specifically for the fruit boxes that are shipped from here: I'm not pleased. I ordered to get a box every month for the entire season of various oranges. Only two of them have been worth what I paid. They are literally just plopped into a cardboard box - no padding, except for one variety, and no spacing. I'm not sure if they are abused before they go in the box or this is all FedEx playing football with them. Almost one entire box was a total loss from bruising which turned into mold from the wet box. Losing 3-4/box just on opening is not unusual. The first two months were lacking in taste. The cherry on the sundae was that I didn't get March's shipment until well after the middle of the month (supposed to ship on the first of the month), and then, less than 2 weeks later and before March is over, I got April's shipment. We can't eat citrus that fast, especially when it comes bruised and beaten. SO much waste. I will not be a return customer.

We took a ride here today from Palm Bay and was very glad we did! I am so impressed with the market and the upick was so cute. My daughter and I enjoyed it so much!

I've never been there but I just watched "How It's Made" and this business was on that show, i was very impressed by the small production facility, the workers taking a personal interest in their jobs, bottling one bottle at a time , I love it, I'm gonna take a drive down from Ocala.

We loved this place, from the time we accidentally passed by and it was my first time picking oranges (although it was cold temp Dec' 2024) I enjoyed it. For the 2nd time last week I came to pick another few baskets of oranges, it was fun staff are friendly, the store is tidy(no funky smells) love cute knick knacks, and they have more if you come and browse into the store, not just oranges. We'll be back soon

I like this store. They have great fresh orange juice. However, they have increased their prices so much that I cannot afford shopping there any more. Just too expensive.

Really like this little market. Lots of gift items as well. Their oJ is delicious. Lots of homemade jams and local produce. Have an assortment of candy too.

Fun place to market shop for locally produced goods. Just a great family owned grove with a lot of history. Delicious food and genuine people. Come check it out and see for yourself!
