Since Windstream is the only provider in our area, we have no choice of phone or internet services. We have a business line that has been down twice within the last 30 days for at least two days each time. That means my business cannot recieve calls for almost 25% of the month. You would think you could get a faster response since we are paying top dollar for a business line. I guess if you are the only provider in town, you don't have to respond to customer concerns.

They were fine when I had service. cancelled in November. paid in full. recived a bill in March. called and was told don't worry. ignore it. famous last words. was charged in April. Then they became customer no-service. requested a supervisor. now two days of calls and no call backs..... never again.

They are charging me 100 a month for 3 mbs internet. It is a monopoly on the available Internet in my area. Last year they dug up the entire line running to my house only to bury ANOTHER 3MBS LINE. Then I'm told they get a contract to install fiber to rural/low internet areas and I am not eligible. I have had them for nearly 10 years. If I had access to upgrade my speeds or another non satellite internet option it wouldn't be that bad. I am essentially stuck with them and I can't do anything about it. Edit: for anyone who is being ignored or mistreated by the company you can contact the Georgia public service commission and put in a complaint.

This is worst internet service you can have. I only chose them cos they were the only ones in the area that provide internet service. The internet goes off quite often but that not the only problem. When you contact them, they are never able to resolve issue remotely and their technicians usually cannot come out until day or 2 after. so here you are paying for whole month when you had no service for few days here and there. Another issue is their billing... I was given discount for 1st yr which came off after a year so my bill went $15 up. however, month after my bill went up another $10 which I cannot explain why. the customer service mentioned that was another discount that came off but it does not reflect that way on the bill.

Windstream is not only a poor internet service but their customer service is even worse. My elderly parents have it. They called in for have equipment upgrade. Had a tech scheduled to come out. Then they received an email of the service ticket cancellation on weekend before the appointment on Tuesday for unknown reasons! Do not use windstream!

Trust me, something is not right with this company. They set appointments and don't show up. When you call them, they claim to have multiple systems and certain things don't generate to the right system. I have waited all morning and now the next appointment is in July. I have school children that needs internet. Customer service is so bad!!!

If I could do zero stars for windstream i would, service is horrible and 3x I have to go thru 20 minutes of voice response to set up tech appointments, i miss work and they are no show. Always the same call back oh sorry now your on hold for us all day tomorrow so please run back home when we decide to call and say we are "on the way" which could mean 20 minutes, hours or no show. Who does this? Literally your on call for them all day?
