I would definitely recommend this location over going to the overcrowded Apple Store! The store is located behind the McDonald's, and I was in and out in under half an hour. James was AMAZING! He was extremely pleasant and professional. He was knowledgeable of the technical issues that I experienced with both my iPhone (12 Pro) and MacBook. Plus, their prices are reasonable, and they don't try to up-charge you if don't need the service. I highly recommend this store! Go see James, and tell him I sent you!

Rude on the phone. Said 80$ would go towards repair but when data couldn't be retrieved from my laptop they didn't reinstall the operating system so I couldn't use my laptop with an external monitor and said that would be an additional $65 dollars to do so. So in what way is that 80$ being used towards the repair. Mostly just pissed with the guys manner on the phone. It's not bad enough to lose every creative project I've done in the past 4 years I have to be treated by an idiot too. Thanks!

Quick service, very helpful over the phone. My Mac screen was cracked and they fixed it in maybe 2.5 hrs! Granted they already had the parts.

I was quoted $1,100 for a screen repair for a MacBook that is currently selling for $1,599. I was also told that the repair could wipe my computer clean and would be charged a fee to back up the information and then another fee to put it back on the computer. That seems like a way to rack up on money. The guy I received my quote from changed the deposit amount 3 times before finally saying how much I would be required to put down. The process of getting a quote felt very unprofessional and unfair. I was willing to spend a lot of money on this service, but I do not feel I was fairly quoted. I would ask around before going with this company.

Onyx Computer Consulting Services in Decatur, GA deserves five stars for its excellent staff, technical expertise and ability to take care of its customers' needs. HOWEVER ... for customers who walk with a cane or are otherwise mobility impaired, the entrance to their establishment is 100% unfriendly and, in fact, DANGEROUS . It is clearly not ADA compliant, and it constitutes a major accident that will happen. It is an accident attorney's dream situation just waiting to sue.. People being who people are, someone will fall and potentially suffer life threatening injuries. (This is not an exaggeration.) I hope that Onyx owners will take note and remedy this situation immediately. Handrails leading up from the parking lot all the way to the floor of the shop will help immeasurably and cost little. All that is required is responsible ownership and management.

I came here yesterday because my MacBook wouldn't turn on and I was referred here from the genius bar at the mall (because this problem was bigger than what they address - logicboard was a goner). As you could imagine, my head was swimming with all the documents, passwords and photos that I'd lost with my computer dying. In less than three minutes of waiting, Eric greeted me and somehow his calmness reassured me that he would try his best to solve my problem. To say that Eric worked diligently to repair my problem is an understatement! I have never experienced such professionalism and solution-orientedness as a customer, which has led me to leave this review. Fast forward, with the power of special tools, a wealth of knowledge and Eric's magic, I am back in action. EVERYthing that I lost on my computer was restored. I'm sure I'm not the first (nor the last) person to full out cry in the store. I am so grateful for Onyx Consulting and the entire staff there. While I was waiting I saw everyone deliver care, patience and compassion to each person who walked through the door. You have a customer for life now! (although I hope I don't have to come with many more problems in the future.) I'll be back next week to make sure I'm backing up my files the right way. Onyx recently replaced my MacBook Pro keyboard. They provided quick and excellent service, and are authorized by Apple so they do AppleCare+ repairs. Highly recommended.
