Kenneth Ortiz

Honestly, I hate doing this, but my experience with FaithWorks was not good and I believe other churches deserve to know. It seems like some churches have loved working with FaithWorks, which is great, so maybe they're good for some churches. But my experience was very disappointing. The team was super friendly. Jono (CEO) specifically seemed like a nice guy. We gladly signed an agreement with them. First for Meta ads, and later for Google grant management. We had our "kick off call" on March 5. On that call, I was asked to give Anika admin access to Google and Meta. I did both immediately. But, for some reason, she didn't accept the Facebook admin role for another 20 days. They would have needed access to get work done, so during the time they were supposed to be doing things, they clearly weren't. Odd. Also, FaithWorks resells a software called "HighLevel" (most of the church marketing agencies do this). Typically, churches use a sub-account, under FaithWorks' master account (it's branded so you don't know that "their" software is actually something else). But our church already had a HighLevel account, so I asked them to use our account. Jono told me that was unusual but they were willing to do it. (This later became a sticking point). Based on the promises made on the kickoff call, I was expecting a lot of work to be done within 8-10 days. But after 14 days, not much was done. Then, when I did finally see some partial work on Google ads, they were terrible. I emailed my rep (Michael). Took two days to get him on Zoom. We finally talked (Friday, Mar. 21). I still had not gotten any quality responses from Michael for a few days. So, on Tuesday (Mar. 25), I emailed him. Later that day I sent their team a 22-minute-long Loom video, highlighting the very specific mistakes they had made that needed to be rectified. Furthermore, there was still NO work done on my Meta ads. This whole process was terribly slow. Late in the day on Wednesday, March 26, I received an odd email. They stated that instead of correcting the ads, they decided that they intended to simply erase all of them and completely start over. I responded by saying that I thought this was a bad idea. We were already several weeks behind. Starting over would take weeks. Obviously, the had produced no work of value, otherwise they would not have been willing to erase all the work. If the work was of any quality, they would not have sought to delete it all. Honestly, at that point it felt (a little bit) like they were just trying to cover their tracks. Later that evening, I decided that the Google ads work situation was untenable. I told them to forget about Google and just focus on Meta. I even offered to "eat" the costs of the Google work for the month, I just wanted them to deliver on the Meta ads. We had not gotten anything done in several weeks. Later that evening, I then disconnected FaithWorks' admin team from having admin access to my Google ads dashboard. I didn't want them to do any Google work, so there was no longer any reason for them to have access to my Google dashboard. They still had access to my Meta and HighLevel accounts. Then, on Thursday afternoon, I received a shocking email from Jono: He refused to honor the original agreement. He stated that, in order to continue, we would now need to use their agency HighLevel account (remember, this was something we specifically negotiated upfront). I was shocked. This was a clear and deliberate deviation from the original agreement. Totally unprofessional. Soon after, we decided to part ways with FaithWorks and asked for a refund. The total amount that I had paid was $1,790. I believed I was entitled to 100% back, but I knew that wouldn't happen, so I emailed him that I'd be happy with $1,300. But they chose to refund only $695. Yikes! Overall, we're now out $1,095 and we never received anything of any value for our church. Total waste of money and time. Terribly disappointing experience.

Jono and his team are super knowledgeable and have the expertise to make a very real impact on your church's reach within your community. I was a guest on Faithwork's podcast, The Church Marketing Podcast as well as collaborating with them on another project and benefitting from their online resources. They are intentional, passionate, down-to-earth, efficient, responsive, professional and helpful! This is an organization that cares deeply about the local church and does things with excellence.

We had an AMAZING experience with Social Sphere! Jono was great to work with from the first phone call to the last detail on our website. I love how he uses zoom meetings and video tutorials as the web design progresses. I'm so busy at the restaurant I don't have much time for face to face meetings and this was informative , personal , and just perfect . He has a great listening ear and and made everything so simple . Tickled Pig BBQ gives this business 5 stars !

I highly recommend Social Sphere Media. Social Sphere did a website for my wife's business. She was extremely pleased so I went to Jono with my website needs. Jono was very easy to work with. He listened to our desires and quickly had us up and running. He sent short videos explaining how to navigate the site, how to edit and update, etc. Those are nice to have in case you forget something you can go back and watch them again. He was vary responsive to questions that I had. As for prices, I felt that Jono gave us a great product for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a website use Social Sphere Media

I have worked with Jono and his company in several ways. They support my social media activities which keeps my company visible and saves me time. They have been an excellent referral partner for prospects and clients that are looking to build or review websites. Good processes and investment of time and money to bring a professional look. Finally, in every discussion with Jono I have fun, laugh, and I learn. A great business partner for you.

Paula Llorens

We are very pleased with our new website. Jono was easy to work with and responsive to our requests. We're very busy, so we appreciate being able to do everything with him over the phone and online. Turn around was very fast, so our new website was "live" sooner than expected. We will definitely continue to use Jono in the future.
