Compared to all the other reviews here, I feel kind of embarrassed at saying anything. They were taking my payment out of my account, & it was always later than scheduled - one time, it didn't even get taken out until the following month. I called & complained (I'm on a very tight financial schedule), they were very nice & said they'd get to work on it, & they did. For several months they took it out in a very timely manner. But this month, it looks like they're going to go into Next month!! This time I called & got an unbelievable run-around with the automated answering service. I tried 3 times, then called another number (for them), the fellow I spoke with was nice, & polite, but I was told that, essentially, there is nothing anyone can do about the matter. I told him "Thank you, may you have a nice day. I'll think about this, maybe get another carrier". He suggested I use my debit card to pay.....I'm so thankful to have read all these replies. Thanks for the warning!

Horrible service, horrible communication, horrible prices. I couldn't ever speak to a live representative. It was only communication from people who don't live here! They didn't understand me, and I didn't understand them. Never told me when internet would be out, fixed, or updated. They never sent me an email or letter saying my bill was going to go up. Just horrible. Internet was slow. Go to Sparklight. We have loved Sparklight.

So i called and inquired for service he told me what was available and the Monthly price they come to install and the installer tells me that only half was available and if i wanted what the guy told me on the phone its gonna cost me 600$ so i say fine whatever and when i get it its 3x slower than what i was promised im keeping em for a month then going somewhere else they lost me as a customer for life after this extortion

My bill went up $10 per month on already crappy service that was already overpriced. I am canceling my internet. It's only unfortunate that I'm not able to get a hold of them during anything but regular business hours. So I will have to do this on my lunch hour.

I wish i would've listen to those 1 star reviews before I bought in with century link. please please, do not go with them. terrible experience. save your money, go with another company instead century link

It seems to me there need to be a class action lawsuit filed against century link. Customer Service is a joke. They've been billing me for internet that get half the speed as advertised. You can't get a hold of anyone at customer service that knows anything. This is theft. They won't shut your service done either. Auto pay gets pulled from my account. Contacting the FCC and BBB and filing complaints. Trying to get people together for a class action lawsuit

It takes 40 minutes to get through to anyone and another 40 minutes between 4 transfers. I will never recommend century link for phone or internet service. SO disappointed.

CenturyLink processed a move order incorrectly and ended up canceling my service with no warning 3 months later as a result. After 2 hours with their incredibly frustrating chat support, they told me the best they could possibly do to help was to send a technician out to set up my already set up internet in 3 weeks. Their customer support is never there when you need them (which will be frequently), and when you can get ahold of them they'll blame the problems on you and refer you in circles until you get tired of trying to get help and switch service providers.
