City of Refuge

There is hope here. Co. Who runs the place is by far the kindest man I've ever met, real empathy and compassion every day. The pep talks inspiring. L will tell it like it is a real natural kind of a guy. M the case manager is a smart sweetheart of a lady. The food is glorious and a prayer from T will change you. So many more make this a great stop on your wellness plan. Beware of "Karen" they are everywhere complaining and trying to get a reaction,don't do it.

Pure crap don't come here stay away You don't need ppl telling you what to do in life.

The staff/volunteers are kind and caring. No judgment here

I am so thankful for being able to stay here when life was becoming very difficult. When you first arrive to get a bunk you go through a process of reading rules and regulations, a drug test to confirm you're not on any substances that are not allowed at the shelter. Once that's all completed you settle in and thank God for being able to have a place like City of Refuge to go to. There are a few staff members that make all the difference while staying at the shelter. Tristan, Joseph, Cody, Pastor Cuppy, Nathan. Praise be to God for putting quality Godly men into my life.

thank you. they helped me. I'll explain on how you helped me. You helped me with a warm meal. Then your talks before meal time, saved me. It brought me back to a new and better person. I then watched silently, on how the volunteers handled things you taught me that was heading towards spirit jail. As soon as I realized that god helped me turn me around through you guys. I'm not the same person but a whole different person you all thought me not only to be nice but blunt. You also taught me how to call it out even if its rude. Thank you, and I'm going to keep watching silently. I really enjoy the meeting before the dinner time. You also made me feel like I have a family for the first time still. Thank you. But make sure you stay in business cause this world and state need you here. Also if possible expand. Update.. thank you again, you helped me yet again, if you need someone to talk to i suggest here.

They welcome donations.. They were amazing Wayne and Charles are great. The staff is amazing, go Josh! Thanks to Tyler people who want to get a leg up and make their life better can. If you take advantage of the situation you can get set up but you gotta be willing to work for it or your life will never change.

Needs some work my son had to be there he needed a place. But when your on SSDI you really can't work. Then the bed bug situation was really bad. So he ended up moving in with a friend out of the area. He is now in Montana an doing better.

I know..... And he knows.... They are low on staff members because they keep leaving but the place is a great place just with strick rools and they do help but it is like a collage dorm. They all are great there.
