Alt's Copperhouse

I hate leaving poor reviews, because I know how important they can be to a business. However - We used this facility on 2/10/25, and have yet to hear a single word from anyone about our $500 deposit. The manager of my business has called twice and left a message. No call back. I have personally messaged twice on the website. We've not heard a word! The communication was just as poor, leading up to the day before our party. That day, I still had no directions as to how we get in, or have a tour of the facility. Thankfully I did get a call, and were able to figured that part out. At this point, I'm worried I may have been ripped off. I don't think it is reasonable to expect to run a business without customer service. Simply collecting money online isn't a good long-term plan. The place is quite expensive. Sure be nice to have a little effort put into the process.

I'm upset to have to make this review as we have previously enjoyed this venue. We have attended friends events here and recently hosted our own a month ago. To my understanding, it's under new ownership so I can only assume this is the issue. Our event went great and we had no issues until it came to receiving our security deposit back. The venue was left clean as it was found and we shut down according to all of their specifications. We were told days after the event that our $500 had been refunded and it may take up to 14 business days to post, so we waited. More than the 14 days passed, so we reached out again. Something happened on their end? It's never been clarified. Long story short - we finally saw a pending refund for $500 on 7/23( 3+ weeks after our event). Unfortunately, it dropped off of our account within a day or two and was nowhere to be found. Our bank told us that it was because they never finalized the refund. We reached out to management again and they said they would look into it. A few more days goes by, still nothing has posted or is pending in our account. They reach out to us this time to inquire if anything has come through. We send proof that nothing has. We were then informed that they would supply a handwritten check next week (8/5) if nothing posts. Great, sounded like a good plan. Well, this afternoon I am greeted with text messages/screen shots showing their end of the refund process, to which I respond with more proof that we still have not received said money. I was given a "too bad, so sad" kind of attitude when I was told "At this point, we have nothing to refund." I'm not sure if they believe we are lying about receiving our money back or what, but we are very disappointed in how this whole process has evolved as we have been more than patient. Previous friends who have rented this venue received their refunds within a week following their event. I will revise and update this review by next week if our issue is resolved. If I don't - then heed my warning and do not use this venue for your future events unless you are fine with spending an extra $500 above an agreed upon price.

We loved this place for our Christmas party! Hannah was amazing to work with and she had the place decorated so beautifully.

We just had our wedding reception at Alts on Oct 23, and everything turned out wonderful and just how we wanted it. Mercedes in particular was fantastic in helping us to arrange everything, and to boot doing most of the process over the phone/email 6 hours away the entire time! The venue was spacious, clean, and provided the nice relaxed feel we were going for. We will be using Alts again for future gatherings and we look forward to it!

A fun place for most events and parties. Weddings are a little challenging but are workable - especially if outdoor access is possible (a.k.a. weather conditions permitting). However, birthday parties and bridal/baby showers are completely easy to do at Alt's Copperhouse.

I love Alts Copperhouse! I have attended events there as well as catered and bartended events at their venue. The owners and staff are so easy to work with and the space is clean and set up nicely. Very good location for many types of events. Great parking as well!

We hosted our company Christmas party here and we are so glad that we did. The venue has so much to offer, such as games, music, full kitchen, tons of space, and great service from Mercedes. The place was very clean also. We will be using this venue for all of our party/event needs in the future. Mercedes was so sweet and kind, and made our choice easy when it came to choosing a venue. Had my 50th Bday party at Alt Copper House. It was a perfect place for it. Had a band and it worked out great! Lots of compliments from the guests about how great the venue was and asking how I found it.
