Customer Reviews & Testimonials
The rest area part is well used and with large shaded picnic area. The N Idaho bicycle trail goes through it so it also has a lot of bicycle racks . Actually I give that part a 4 1/2z. However there is no visitor info or welcome center and that is why I stopped.I missed the weigh station turn and went around thru construction to come back. Empty building. Nothing to say where else to go for info. No literature about places to eat, camp, stay etc There was a faded id map I could not read.
Just okay. Sign posted stating no overnight parking so not truly a rest stop and more of a bathroom break/stretch your legs spot. Bathroom wasn't all that clean, one of two urinals were closed with a garbage bag over it. Outdoor drinking fountain didn't work and bathroom sinks weren't deep enough to fill anything other than a small water bottle. Parking lot is surrounded by a nice forested area and there are a couple of picnic tables. But again, it's my opinion that rest stops should be a good free spot to take a snooze when you've been driving all day. Idaho's getting some lame laws.
Nice view of Idaho landscape. The bathrooms however need maintenance especially since it's next to a visitor center. Other than that it's fair they offer picnic shaded areas and pet areas.
Nice clean restrooms with a weigh station and tourist manned tourist information booth for Idaho & Montana. Big bonus was the paved Centennial trail goes across the back of the rest stop. Took a nice walk on a beautiful day. Nice break from driving. Tempted to take a ride too.
Beautiful location, clean restrooms, picnic tables also the weigh station is there so must pass all the big rigs... safely of course.
Sparse accommodations. No family restrooms or changing tables available. Actual visitor center was not open, which makes no sense. Why have a visitor's center r that isn't open? Vending machines were out of several items or those selections were not working. No trash cans in the bathrooms? First for everything I guess.
A traveler's oasis! Exceptionally clean facilities, well-maintained picnic areas, and safe parking. Kudos to the informative displays. A restful stop amid our journey.
Like all rest areas I've been to, there's a building with bathrooms, (nothing fancy and no paper towels, just hot air). There's a place for concessions that wasn't open. Clean parking lot and walking areas. Easy access on and off freeway
