Up North just won best distillery in North Idaho, and for good reason. The owners are crafting truly unique spirits made from honey, apples, malts, and even pine cones. Highly recommend getting the Gauntlet Flight and trying all 9 of their spirits. The owners are very nice people who are passionate about creating great products!
Coming from Wi my wife and I know "Midwest nice" and this place made us feel right at home. The hospitality here is second to none. Great spirits and a great atmosphere to enjoy them. The staff and owner are very personable and always make sure you enjoy your time. If you're in the area I highly recommend coming here. Can I give it 10 stars?
We absolutely love this place!! We love Hillary & Randy!! They made us feel like family and have great cocktails too!! The bar has a very quaint vibe, and you can't beat the nights they roll open the garage door and have live music!
Their single malt whiskey is single handedly some of the best whiskey I have ever had. Smooth and easy drinking, no unpleasant aftertaste, just the right mix of bitter and sweet. Way way better than your traditional whiskies sold in liqour stores. I don't know what kind of mash they are using or what secret they have but all it took was one sip on the rocks for me to be hooked. I wish I could find this on the east coast where I'm from. Highly recommend stopping and having a cocktail or taking a bottle home like I did. I didn't drink or eat at the establishment, just bought a bottle to take with me.
Very unassuming place when you drive by but wonderfully surprising once inside. Bartender was very friendly and had some great tunes on. Feature a number of spirits and beers from the region. Well worth the stop.

Went here while visiting Spokane. Really cozy place with friendly staff. Dyvon was awesome. Fantastic drinks. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Spokane.
