Domu Chicago Apartments

I have used Domu's website for four moves in Chicago and I love the ease of their website. For the first time in my life, I have to move out of my apartment early and decided to list our unit as a sublease on their site. It was so easy to navigate, and it was incredibly thorough in their questions. Unfortunately, my building wanted to take this on themselves and requested I remove the listing. I immediately emailed Domu 4 hours later asking for help to tear down the listing and within 12 hours got a response from Julia saying it was all taken care of and I was refunded my fee. I am so appreciative for their assistance during a very stressful time. I am seven months pregnant. Dealing with Covid. And getting uprooted unexpectedly from the West Loop. This was one less stress for me and I am forever grateful

I have been listing my apartments on Domu for many years. The site always delivers the most and best leads- hands down. I always use the free lease and all the other forms, which is a pain but Domu makes it easy and that's part of being a landlord in Chicago. I definitely recommend Domu!

As a landlord, posting can be complicated when it shouldn't be. Domu simplifies the process for us at an affordable rate. They attract amazing renters. From an interface level on both renters and landlords, its super easy to use and I'll definitely keep posting!

I have actually been a "member" of Domu for several years now. I found Domu because I was looking to rent out the condo I own and wasn't getting legitimate responses from other free sites. For a nominal fee I was able to post my condo on Domu and had a fantastic tenant (who stayed for 2 years!) within 2 weeks! In addition to a fantastic and legit site, Domu is the most comprehensive and informative site I have come across for rental resources. Chicago is an extremely tenant-friendly city and the horror stories I have read online about legal recourse against landlords can be really scary. I have used the clear, easy to follow landlord resources numerous times and have even encouraged my renter to use the tenant resources as well. Sadly, after 2 fantastic years, my tenant is looking to move on. I re-activated my listing (which was still saved on my Domu account! So convenient!) last night and have interest from 4 people already! Domu makes listing my condo as a part time landlord so much easier!

Domu has been a great platform for us to advertise our listings! The posting process is easy and straight forward. The leads we received were serious and many of them went on to sign leases. Another great tool we used was their activity statistics. We were able to see how many people were viewing the listings. It helped us determine if some units were overpriced and allowed us to correctly market them. 5 stars!

Domu works great for renters. I found a great apartment through Domu's website, and would recommend it to anyone looking for apartments. The pictures and listing descriptions posted on the website was accurate to the apartments I saw. I got in touch with the landlords right away and was able to set up appointments the same week. Will definitely use Domu again in the future.
