We went there this evening for fish. While our meals were ok our service was exceptionally poor. Forty five minutes AFTER ordering and inquiring, we were told our ticket was next. When I sought out the manager she blamed it on not having enough deep friers. Our food finally arrived. Upon paying our bill, the waitress inquired our exact meals and rang them up on her hand held machine, handed the machine back to us with the tip page showing and asked for signatures. She did not mention she had already included a 20% surcharge for a large party. Therefore, she received a 40% tip. Because we did not request receipts we didnt realize this until after the fact. We will not be returning. Busters is down the road and has exceptional fish. The staff there can manage a crowd and the staff won jip you out of money.

Love coming here for trivia when we can. Decent food that arrives pretty quickly, with friendly service. Wide beer selection (though often some offerings on their paper lists end up not being available). It seems the restaurant has just changed over to a new kind of ordering system/POS, and the wait staff have to have you run your card via the machine they carry with them/wear on their wrists, which can feel a bit awkward when the machine asks you several questions before you can complete payment. They unfortunately were not honoring gift cards at the time of our visit, we were told due to the changeover, though it may be fixed soon. Server was very apologetic and made it as right as she could.

We had a group of ten when they came to pay the bill, Taylor said it was $192. 42. I gave her my credit card ans she asked if I wanted to leave a tip on the card and I said I would leave cash. She ran my card and returned with a receipt I handed her $40 for a tip. When I got home and looked at receipt there was a 20% tip added to the bill for a large group. I was livid! Waitress should have told me. We didn't get a bill. Ridiculous! I must eat my words, I contacted Jax about the tip and Katlin refunded the tip on my card. She also said she would review with servers to notify people of tip policy! Excellent customer service.

Has that classic bar feel in atmosphere, the bartender is a sweetheart and is very professional, food is great, had the Reuben, delicious, same with their drinks as there is a great selection of cocktails, beer, whiskey. Great music while you chat up with friends. Nice little spot to take a load off.

I've always loved Jax and never been treated this way, the bartender appeared intoxicated and did not come to greet us within 5-10minutes, it was not a busy weekend at all, bar was NOT full, she then proceeded to get on her phone and help other people. I don't want to make it a race thing but we were black and the other people weren't. Once again, always loved Jax, only welcoming people were the security. 0 stars.

I cannot beleive how good the food was. I had a prime rib quesadilla. It was amazing. The onion rings were good as well. Taylor our waitress was nice and checked in on us often. Our food took a while longer than I would have liked, but it was hot and the flavor made up for it. If i was here on lunch during work, I would have knocked a star for that.

Burger is small and no flavor. Ordered it medium. Came burnt and dry. Got curds as my side instead of fries. Premium upgrade....comes out and its 5 whole whopping curds. Should have ordered waffle fries. Come on man..... very loud atmosphere.. can't hear conversation. To bad I live so close now. Back to the old favorites. Much better food

This is a nice place to get a drink and get out of the heat of the summertime. The staff is very friendly with quick service and good conversation. Everything I have tried on the menu has been delicious and the food keeps me coming back for more. I would recommend this place for a quick lunchtime meal. It's Very Nice!!!
