Champaign-Urbana Adventures in Time and Space

CU Adventures in Time and Space is an absolute must-visit. We came from California as part of a tour specifically to play here. We played all 7 games as of April 2025 in the course of two days. Several of the best rooms in the whole country are here. Can't recommend highly enough. Beautiful sets, fun stories, interesting puzzles, and amazing staff. So friendly and fun. Come try it for yourself.

I, along with 4 others, did the Wizards Curse. It was our first escape room and a 4 hour drive, and we would 100% do it again! Just the 1 room we did was so fun, it was a challenge but also really fun and felt fair. Our GM (I do not remember his name, I'm sorry) stayed in charater, gave us good clues that didn't give it away, just helped guide us. 10/10 experience, very fun, will come back!

I've done somewhere around 350 escape rooms and this venue is right near the top of my list! We did their Fables, Villains, Revenge of the Cabin and D&D rooms over the weekend and all of them were a blast. Incredible sets, unique and creative puzzles and an amazing staff! Fables was one of the best escape rooms I've ever done, the theme and concept were incredibly unique, the set was breathtaking, our game master was great and there were surprises left and right! C U Adventures in Time and Space is a must visit venue for any enthusiast!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time doing the Forests and Fables puzzle! Our gamemaster was amazing and made things even more fun. We've done several escape rooms and we agreed that this one was the most fun!

We had the best time doing our very first escape room! Our guide was so helpful in giving us (lots of) clues, but still making us think and come up with the answers! We will definitely be back when we come back to the area again!

An absolutely wonderful company run by absolutely wonderful people. The games here are world class and worth traveling for - which is exactly what I did. I played my 250th game here! Come play everything.

So, I have two friends who have never done an escape room, and one of them was having a birthday! I booked The Cabin for the three of us. This was my first visit to Adventures in Time and Space. From the moment we arrived, I could tell this was going to be a great experience. I've done probably about 8 escape rooms, so I have experience, and everyone here was very friendly. There were cool things to look at, and even a unique game to play in the lobby. Try it out, you'll be happy you did! The game master was very helpful and welcoming. I told him that we had two new people, and to explain everything as if none of us had ever done a room before. He did a great job of explaining everything, and then he guided us into the room. He got into character, which was really fun, and he explained why we were there. One of us stayed in character as well, and that was an extra fun experience. The puzzles were challenging in a very good way, but not impossible. You're given 60 minutes to complete the room, and we completed it with about four and a half minutes to spare! Winning the room always makes it even more fun. The puzzles were a mix of what I would have expected in an escape room, but there were also quite a few that I've never seen before. That made for a really great experience. I was visiting town, and it makes me a little sad that I can't just go back next week to try to tackle another room. Still, I loved this place, and the people were really what made the experience fantastic. This ranks as one of my favorite Escape Room Venues, and if I ever have a chance to visit the area again, I will absolutely return. Thank you to the staff for helping make my friend's birthday extra fun and special!

What a gem! We had so much fun!! Perfect way to end mom's weeekend. We booked an 11:45AM reservation the night before for a group of 6, ranging from age 13-71. The puzzles were REALLY well designed. Loved the storyline. Super grateful for our guide!
