Love these candles! I get many compliments when I'm burning their Rosemary&Bay leaf while hosting company. Perfect hospitality scent! My husband and I purchased mini candles in that scent from Oak Lane for a wedding favor, and my guests have reached out quite a few times to say how much they loved it. I appreciate how clean burning they are as well as the unobtrusive label design and care instructions. I get migraines and fragrance can trigger them, so I'm slow to try more of their candles, but I've found great success with their skull candle scent, gin + juniper, and rosemary + bay leaf.
The Pour Bar: What a lovely Friday afternoon gift from my girlfriends! I am an amateur candler, and Stacy taught us SO much. The soft aromas and ambience in her store are intoxicating. We each crafted our perfect candle. And did a little boutique shopping on the side! Highly HIGHLY recommended! ps. Soy wax only :-)
Oak Lane Candles makes tea candles for me, and this time I am trying the Magnolia Peonies scent. No toxic scents added. The shop is a gem on Main Street!
Love these candles and hardly use anything else at home! The scents are so consistent and I look forward to their holiday and seasonal releases each year (especially the Halloween Skull candles)! There's a scent for everyone in the store! I love their earthy/nature scents, especially Palo Santo. Their Nag Champa scent smells just like you burned a full incense stick in your house, absolutely incredible!

I love thrifting vessels and bringing them into Oak Lane to choose a scent to fill it with! Perfect for a teacups and mugs that are all over thrift stores. Makes a great thoughtful and unique gift!
One of my favorite stores in downtown Ames! Perfect place to find gifts. Candles are beautifully scented with different combinations than you can find elsewhere.
