Backpocket Dubuque

We had our staff Christmas party at Backpocket this year. It was a great choice to say the least. Food options were great and very well priced plus super delicious. We picked the small event room which was right off the main area which fit our team perfectly. The staff got to play duckpin bowling which was a huge hit! We will definitely keep them in mind for any upcoming gatherings for sure!

This place is great! Arcade, bowling...just a ton of fun. Oh and they have beer too.

Thank you from the kitchen staff, bar staff, management to patrons that joined the arcade the day of our event. The facility was clean and prepped for our party. Everyone was beyond kind, friendly and willing to do what it took to make our birthday celebration memorable. I wasn't sure what to expect, so of course I overpacked materials necessary to serve dinner and clean the tables. When I asked for support to transition into gifts they were quick to lend a hand, an extra trash bag and I couldn't ask for more. All I wanted was a rag and solution so I could start scrubbing table after 20 7yo boys ate dinner and dessert and I was ready to do the work :) but no they hopped right in! Thank you again to everyone for making Fletcher's Golden Royale Birthday truly GOLDEN! Memories were made with friends and families. Everyone left with a smile on their face, bellies full, and quarters well spent! See you all again soon! Love the Langs

Jake and the team at Backpocket did a wonderful job with our event fro our seminary student group. We loved our private space and the opportunity to play shuffleboard and duckpin bowling in the public spaces. There was a wide selection of drinks available including: soft drinks, house craft beers, and mixed drinks. We had the pretzel bites, chips with salsa and guacamole, and wings, and everyone enjoyed the food and drink.

The atmosphere of this place is fun. Our group didn't get a chance to try the arcade, but would want to come back and check it out. Food and drinks were delicious, and reasonably priced. There was a slight wait in getting our food order and ordering at the bar, but it was a Saturday night and relatively busy. Overall, would come back, but maybe at a time that's less busy.

Booking the small event room was a perfect space to celebrate my golden birthday with a small group and little ones. The games, food and drinks were great and the friendly staff were helpful with all questions and requests. Definitely keeping this and the other spaces available in mind for future events!

Great beer selection. I'm not too busy in the bar, but it's hard to find parking in the area due to other shops/stores. It gets busy in the evening. Lots of arcade games. We had a small wait for duck pin bowling, but it was too long. This duck pin is elevated from the standing area, which made it a little weird, but we enjoyed our game.

Hot honey chicken is fantastic combination of sweet and spicy flavors. The burger needs salt. The location is really cool with an arcade, pool table, 5 pin bowling, and large outdoor TV screen you can bring your food and drink to the dolphin.
