I switched to fiber optic this week and the service call was fantastic. Cody S and Triston S were the outdoor technicians and were friendly, timely, and very courteous. They answered my questions and told me what they would be doing and why. I don't remember the name of the indoor tech but he was equally great to work with. The speed tests were not that great after they left but by the next day everything was where they should be with fiber. But it was the same when I first switched to Mercury Broadband. Very happy with the service and speeds.

They arrived early, which was great, and installed everything with ease and in a timely manner. They bother we're very friendly and patient with my very curious but unsure dog. 0 STARS! Story Time: 2024 my road started getting fiber optics, they offered free installation, we reached out and were put on the schedule. From there and email thread started between this company and my wife which changed the monthly price 3times, changed from free installation to something we had to pay for, that price also changed twice. Too many red flags, wife said no thanks take us off the schedule. Fast forward to the beginning of April this year. door to door salesman knocked with a gift card promotion if we signed up, i agreed, install scheduled 10 days out. First crew showed up 2 weeks later, said they couldn't do anything for some reason and dropped materials off. 2weeks later 2nd crew showed up with the same tune, cant do anything right now, they left. last week a third crew showed up, said they couldn't do anything yet, but they installed an above ground wire and a box to my house, so when they came back it would be a 20min job. Cool, at least something was finally getting done. I expected them back this week, didn't hear from anyone until Thursday afternoon (today) telling me they were planning on coming out next Thursday. i voiced my concerns, the fact that 3 crews have already shown up, the exposed wire in my yard (i have livestock and children, also cant mow my yard) but most importantly that I'm about to be without internet for an unforeseen amount of time. i explained i canceled with my other provider expecting to have fiber optics three weeks ago. They offered a credit. I said " so in regards to the problems i just listed, that's just is what it is?" they responded with "ya, sorry man" 10 out of 10 would never recommend this place, they have shown their incompetence twice now. I told them "if this box is still attached to my house when i get home tomorrow ill be taking it off myself", because when i said i no longer want this service please remove these things from my property they said "ill let you know when we can get a crew out there" trash company. thanks for reading.

I signed up for service at my new home and was told there wouldn't be a problem and installation was scheduled. When the tech arrived... he was very nice so I had no problem with him... he informed me there was no signal available. Why in the world would you advertise to provide service where you can't provide service?! I didn't even bother to try and find another provider because I was never informed this would even be a possibility! Make sure you verify service availability at your address, not just in your town, and make alternate plans in case they screw you like they did me.

Seems to good to be true but yet here it is! Steve my installer was awesome! took the time to explain everything and ensured we were satisfied with all aspects of the installation. He went above and beyond to make the install of the outside wires look nice and made sure it worked!

They installed fiber in my area last year and said it was not available to us after digging up our yards. Then today a sales rep came by stating we could sign up for fiber with 1000 mp upload speeds and download speeds for 85.00 a month and we would get a 400.00 gift card for making the switch then after 2 yrs it would go up to 99.00 a month. I needed to talk it over with my bf before making a decision. After talking it over I went on their website and the prices are all different. 99.00 a month for 1 gigabyte speeds with a 250.00 gift card and then goes up to 119.00 was the closest to what the sales guy stated. I decided to call to see why there was a difference and spoke with a rep who gave me a completely different set of prices and could not explain why sales rep 1, the website, and now sales rep 2 prices are all different. Sales rep 2 also states they do not offer fiber in my area even though their website and sales rep 1 shows they do and yes I used my address on the website. Sales rep 2 sends me to her supervisor who says he needs to ask someone else and then hung up on me. I callback and get sales rep 2 again who then puts me on hold for over 10 minutes. When she comes back she says oh our back office said we have been offering fiber in your area since November but they forgot to change it so you'll have to sign up online because that's where you see it. I asked again about the pricing difference and sales rep 2 says oh I don't know but you have to sign up online. So sales rep 1 just went through my entire neighborhood lying to all my neighbors to get them to sign up and then the call center sales reps have no clue what is what and poor customer service.

After I believe about 1.5 years to 2 years with Mercury Broadband, this has been the most reliable internet service provider we've ever had and the only one that I happily do business with. The quality of both the broadband internet service, and later the fiber internet service that we upgraded to when it became available, has been far, far, FAR more reliable and consistent than any before, and they seem more agile in reacting to any issues that may pop up.
