I have been using ISOC as my ISP for many years (ever since they took over one of the very first providers in Cincinnati, IAC). Service is highly reliable. They are great at informing of any changes that might affect service. Support is amazingly good, better than almost anything else out there. Prompt responses, great willingness to assess and solve the problem. Couldn't be happier with both the tech support and the admin support on billing and other aspects of keeping me up and running. HIghly recommend. Update January 2023 John at ISOC solved a major problem for me and, as it turns out, for others. My e-mail software Thunderbird stopped receiving messages at the end of December. I brought this to John's attention and he eventually verified that it was a generic issue affecting many Thunderbird users. I was resigned to awaiting an update from Thunderbird and was figuring out complicated work-arounds. To my surprise, I got a call from him on January 2nd when he walked me through a fix he had found. Although I thought my problem was no longer on his radar, he told me that he had been puzzling over this during the holidays and discovered the solution, and immediately started calling me and others on his return to the office (which would have been a holiday for most people, I was not expecting ISOC to be providing tech support then). This is the type of terrific support I have always gotten from ISOC. At ISOC you get to talk to a knowledgeable live individual, you are not left waiting on hold, you never get pushed into voice-mail hell or AI bots, and you get follow up without having to ask for it. Thanks, John, you saved me a lot of anxiety and effort. Update December 19 2024 I just got great support from Marissa Geisser, solved the problem in short order. I have been having trouble uploading documents to my OneDrive cloud. This is something that I do weekly and never had problems in the past. This week it was extremely slow and almost always failed. Marissa showed me an alternative method that is very fast and reliable, I will be using that going forward. As always, ISOC tech support is great, never disappoints.
