The whole journey with Sierra Interactive has been the most regrettable decision I've made as a business owner. The salesperson over promised. Once contracted, they lack a clear onboarding plan. Your website will be designed just like all their other customers. They lack good trainers. It was like pulling teeth to get training for my team, and when we did, the trainer tried to sell me on a new system outside of Sierra during our one and only training session. They lack completing things within their established timeline. After reading recent reviews, it seems my experience is common. Also, this service costs around $1300 per month and has not produced any fruit in the 7 months we've had it. Proceed with extreme caution.
I highly recommend exercising caution when considering a partnership with this company. I have found the entire experience to be frustrating and disappointing. Firstly, the company has the right, as outlined in their contract, to increase pricing at any time during the term of the agreement. This includes changes due to third-party providers or changes in workload and scope of services, which was never clearly communicated upfront. I was blindsided when I received a notification that my pricing would increase by an additional $25, despite already feeling the service was overpriced. The added costs--such as charges for every text message, sales tax, and MLS fees--were not clearly outlined when signing up, leading to an unexpected financial burden. Additionally, the website and back-end system were extremely underwhelming. I tried all their recommendations, which resulted in a significant waste of time. There are so many things about this whole system, customer service and functionality that are so sub par. Due to the inadequate service and mounting frustrations . When I can finally get out of my contract I will seek alternative solutions. This company's services are overpriced, and their lack of support makes it difficult to justify continuing with them. I would NOT recommend this company to others.
I am a legacy member using Sierra for 10 years now. They were sold to a private equity company and owner Ben is long gone. Now support work is done in India and you can't speak with them directly. Some local folks field your concerns and even they can only Slack w the tech consultants. No meaningful collaboration or discussion is able to happen. You are at the mercy of how good the Sierra person types into Slack what you need. On a daily basis, the support is awful. You get an automated email and then you only have a hoping/wishing strategy for a reply or resolution to your problem. And they are on India time, so any reply takes a day. Sierra is the typical story of PE buying an SAS company, making it as lean as possible so they can flip it for a buck. If you are reading this is 2025, don't get sucked in by the sales, glitz and website features. As soon as you sign and integrate, it will be a nightmare and overall impact to your bottom line when you need emergent help because your site is down, email links are broken, clients can't login, open houses don't populate in your site, home sqft doesn't show properly, featured listings don't filter correctly, your listings are assigned to the incorrect neighborhoods, DNS changes happen w out notice, and the list goes on. And, Sierra is simply a lead capture website and not a CRM or trans mgt platform. All you get is a website and you have to buy all the other expensive software separately to succeed....and have duplicate data which is a nightmare. Look at Brivity or other comprehensive solutions where the owner is still involved in creating a product in excellence w 5 star service for clients.
I started with Sierra Interactive a few months ago. They did a great job creating the website, it looks very professional and unique. They have spent time training me on the CRM, like all CRMs, there is a learning curve, but I feel that when I learn how to use it, it will be a game changer for my business.
Replaced my old Boom Town CRM with Sierra Interactive and couldn't be happier. The features of this new system are far more superior than the older system. With Sierra Interactive if there is a feature you want added they prioritize depending other similar requests and implement; with the other system requests are taken and you never see any action or new implementation. The largest difference is the price, service and ease of use. Do your homework before signing on the Digital line. Thanks Si keep up the good work...
This is an incredible platform, website provider, and CRM for agents who wants to excel. The client service is excellent with all staff extremely knowledgeable and willing to help you grow. I highly recommend Sierra Interactive.
I have used this company service for months, but I never got what I paid for. I could not send Email in different Language, and could not send text as well. The company staff work very slow and kept telling me they do not know when the issue will be fixed. I finally ended the service with them, but their system just does not follow industry standard rule since I have no way to export my leads in one excel. I can only get two excels, one excel with notes, and contact info in another excel. I asked them to help to merge two excels into one so that I can have complete excel with client info and note in one form. They are refused to help. It ended I spent thousands to have someone help to match notes and lead basic info. You problem do not realize it when you started to use the service, but when you end the service with them, the headache will come. Certainly many other issues as well. I can only say I had so much pain with their system.
Wonderful CRM, functionality is beyond everything but Salesforce. The price is way better though and the staff and build team are fast in their fixes and improvements. Really blown away with how great they are!!
