I was lucky enough to meet Lisa at a trade show in Chicago when I was starting to have trouble with my original developer. Smart Solutions wound up taking over our 3 websites and have been helping us untangle the mess our first developers left. They've done a great job of communicating quickly while being honest, and as you deal with more web developers you'll find this is actually not the norm. They've been able to help us fix problems quickly and easily and have kept us within our budget. We've been very happy with their work and I'm happy to recommend them.

We hired Smart Solutions in early 2017 to help us design a new website for our growing multidiscipline design firm. Hord Coplan Macht is a nationally ranked architecture, landscape architecture, planning and interior design company with over 270 people located in three offices across the US. As designers, we had a strong opinion on how our website should look and almost no idea how to design one. Smart Solutions interpreted our design language and translated it into a flexible, useable website that responds well to our diverse markets. Smart Solutions has been a great consultant to work with. They helped us achieve our vision, without pushing an aesthetic upon us. Their Flex Theme helped us achieve the look we wanted without the need for writing extensive custom code and that allowed us to get to the design (the fun part) much faster. We brought a lot of our content to the project and they used our images and text in the early design stages so we could see in real time how the site would look and function. We developed the site in phases to meet both budget and organizational demands and Smart Solutions developed a strategy that looked at the whole project and executed a phased role out. Using Wordpress, we maintain the website content ourselves and can make design changes on our own. The website launched in early 2018 and we've added features and plan to continue as we keep the content fresh, vibrant and informative. We still rely on Smart Solutions for help along the way from adding new capabilities to the site to advice on hosting and other technical aspects. It's been a great relationship for us.
