I don't understand the poor reviews of this family owned small local business. I've been coming here for over 2 years to pick up my packages, and every person in there is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to give the best service possible. They also make an effort to know my name and will hold packages for me instead of sending them back if I'm out of town and can't pick them up in the allotted holding time frame. To the people complaining about needing to present your ID to pick up packages: it's literally the law. If they let someone pick up a package without ID, and the release it to the wrong person, they will lose their license and be subject to huge fines and court appointed punishment. They are just doing their job. The negative reviews are also from people who obviously came in and were rude to the few employees that run the entire store. I don't understand why people can't just be kind. Another amazing thing about this business is that they hire people who wouldn't be given a chance by other businesses. So not only are you supporting a small family owned local business when you come in here, you're also supporting equal employment. UTX is a great establishment that deserved your business.

UPS has this store selected as an access point. I went here two days trying to obtain my packages. One day I arrived at 5:23 p.m. an the store was closed. The next day, I arrived at 5:11 p.m. and the store was closed. If I could rate below 1 star, I WISH!!!! I spoke to gentlemen via phone and he could provide no apologies or resolution. As a small business, you would think the attitude would be different. I see why the store looks dead!!!

On 7/17, my usual UPS Access Point was not taking packages at the time of delivery, so they rerouted it to UTX, Inc. I went in to get it and was greeted with a hello by the two men that worked there. I let one gentleman know that I was there to pick up a package. He quipped, "You do know that this is a computer store right?" Befuddled, I just showed him my license and didn't bother to engage in whatever obvious issue he had with me picking up my package at the authorized UPS Access Point we both happened to be standing in. Despite that awkward encounter, my mission was accomplished.

Very poor repair work and very poor customer service. My wife brought her iPhone here to have the cracked back glass repaired. It was completed in a couple of days at which point we picked it up, took it home and discovered that the power button no longer worked. She returned immediately to UTX where the owner informed her that, yep it's broken and "I didn't do it". He then offered to giver her an estimate to repair it if she left it with him! So her cosmetic repair has become a disabling issue thanks to the ineptitude of UTX. Pay the extra and get it done by someone reputable who has some degree of respect for their customers and exhibits some level of responsibility for their errors.

The worst place ever to receive your PACKAGE FROM!! They are NEVER OPEN I MADE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS TO UPS ... if you're smart DNT SEND YOUR PACKAGES THERE

I have been coming to this location for two months now and picked up packages many times before and today my ID was at home. They refused to give me my package even with a photo of my ID but told me that if someone was at home they could FaceTime and show my ID and that would be OK, they absolutely refused to give me my package. The manager is an idiot. I drove all the way home and came back. The dude didn't even read the name on my ID when I showed it to him. Because he already saw the photo. He made me do that exercise just on principle. Unreal.

Took my 2017 MacBook Pro in for a screen and battery replacement. Less than a year later the battery became swollen causing the side of the laptop to open. When taken back into the store I was told it's a common issue and only fix is to pay for another battery along with the labor again. At first I was told they would waive labor costs if I paid for the battery, then after two weeks of having an open job ticket I was told they would not offer that. I was also told they replaced the with an OEM Apple battery however they won't provide a warranty on it (although Apple will replace defective batteries within one year.) I suspect that the original battery was never replaced and I was charged for it, the battery was installed incorrectly or non Apple parts were used. They also had missed a screw when closing the back of the computer on the original repair. I would highly recommend avoiding this computer this butcher of a chop shop for sensitive electronic equipment.

This is my favorite place to get tech advice and service, from devices to cabling and networking. They don't upsell and they take a pragmatic approach focused on getting my projects to done and ready to use.
