I canceled a month ago. After several calls that went unanswered. They said I'm on the list. Their equipment and wire are dangling from my roof. I keep getting invoices even though I was told the last ones was it. I leave voicemails and send emails. None are replied to.
The worst experience I've ever had, only one person answers the phone they never return calls. I pay for 50 mbs and only able to use 3.3 it's ridiculous. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO NOBODY!!!!
There Custmor service is terrible they are runing the bussiness from there home they are never In the office and they never answer the phone and they are always charging double and love turning your service off even when the bill is paid
They have a single outsourced employee dealing with customers who isn't knowledgeable with Internet speeds, can't transfer phone calls to managers, never gives callbacks, and in general has not been helpful once. The number he gives for a manager goes straight to voicemail and is the ONLY way to get in contact with them. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with Internet providers, and I genuinely hope they go out of business so their customers can finally get good Internet with another company.
Would give zero stars if I could. Have been trying for three weeks to get someone to resolve my internet connectivity. I upgraded to their highest package of 1000 mbps and I'm getting 12. I call them and am sent to a middle man who tells me someone will call back. They never do. He gives me a manager number who won't call me back. The only way to resolve this is to show up in person during my working hours. I will have to lose an hour and a half of pay just to go and fix something they should resolve with a single phone call. Terrible, terrible service.
If you are looking for a ISP without CGNAT so you can port forward your services, this is currently the best option in Hagerstown. This is a very detailed and transparent review of my experiences with Future Broadband. As I am in close proximity to the tower (less than a mile) and fiber is not currently installed near my location (your results may vary based on distance), I get decent latency (30ms), also finding that doing anything on the internet is a lot snappier. Swapping from fiber I was expecting it to perform much worse but I was greatly surprised. I swapped from point just a week ago after being a customer for 2 years due to: 1. Internet randomly cutting out, solid delays in internet access for 10 seconds 2. Overcharging 3. Terrible customer service (even telling me I can't use my own router!) 4. Changed me onto their CGNAT network after a repair without warning, claiming it was a better system. As Point Broadband did provide fiber, the latency obviously was much lower (10ms) and speeds were perfectly 200/200, but port forwarding was what finally convinced me to swap. My main concern with Future Broadband is I am not currently getting my full speed for my plan (200/200) hence the 4 stars. I get about 150/100mbps and the ticket I have opened still hasn't been replied to. I even reported the problem to the technician that was there that day that had installed it, and still have not gotten a call from them after they said they will run troubleshooting from their side. It seems they are also very very busy as it took me a week or two of calling before I could even get it installed. I don't see a immediate need in getting the full speed of my plan (200/200) as the connection has impressed me with how responsive it is. It only becomes a issue when downloading files. Overall using this ISP has shown notable benefits over using point; but it is rather annoying I am not getting the speed I pay for and have been basically ignored.
This business barely operates as a business. We were supposed to have technicians come on Friday, they didn't show up AT ALL. We tried that same day to call, no answer. Tried Monday to call, no answer. Tried today, NO ANSWER. When we did get anyone last Thursday, it was the same person the two times we called. Is only one person answering the phones?? Why is there no option for a callback, to leave a voicemail, a way to chat online? It's just ENDLESS elevator music. I wish I could review the WiFi, but there's no way to get that
The customer service is horrible. It's is one rude man who does not help at all. I canceled my service with them and then they kept on sending me invoices and I could not get a hold of anyone for weeks and when I did they still kept sending me invoices and it took over a few months to get it figured out
