I just want to give warning to all my colleague developers Cons: - Level 1 support is a complete waste of time. - Level 2 support sometimes will take more than a week to solve your problem - Sometimes level2 support will not even understand your problem - Cancelling my account for more than 40 days and they just give the messages you will see they will never give you your money back. (playing all kind of tricks , level 1 replying , then saying accounting only works in certain hours ) I think they work certain hours in the year not in a day . - what is advertised in there website is not what you get , when you ask to have a host vps according to the web, the support will talk completely about a different platform. (Server OS, Tomcat, JDK) - support older version of tomcat and JDK Pros: - Medium to low latency - Down time, a lot (due to there support un-efficiency and sometimes for unknown reason the server is down for short period of time) Conclusion - If you want a production environment, definitely you need to seek another vendor especially if you need especial needs like REST API or latest jdk or tomcat. - If you are a developer and testing stuff, you will get things halting with not obvious reason, thinking its your code. - if you are a learner you might get frustrated to host because sometime it will not be your problem **** Complete waste of time and money. Avoid at all costs. When they work, they work. The problem is that they don't work all too often. We were down almost 50 times in one year and were averaging 82% uptime for several months. Then we hit 99.9% for two months. Then we were down for 8 days. Up again for 8 weeks. Down again for 28 hours. There's never an explanation. It seems whenever they update something, they neglect to integrate it correctly. They'll perform an migration and not tell you - for example, they updated SQL and changed global settings - but did not inform anyone. The first indication was when our site stopped working because certain functions were now blocked. We had to rewrite every single database function after the fact. One time they swapped out hardware and deleted our entire website (and hundreds of others) - and did not even realize it! Another time about 25% of the files vanished - any file we had added or changed in the past year was gone. You name the error, we've had it. 500, 404, 401, 503, 403. Response time is often in the seconds. Recently their SQL server had problems again - no explanation, nothing. Everything was simply wiped out. The entire database was gone. Since they are so unreliable I have a monitoring service on the site now, so I sent in a trouble ticket within minutes. It took them several hours to answer the trouble ticket - and the answer that finally arrived was: "Your database is empty. Let us know if we can be of further assistance." Seriously? I'm still recovering from that. After another 14 hours of communication back and forth and they finally did a restore. The problem is the restored data is over five months old. Worse than useless. System and database backups were supposed to be included in our plan - but the latest one is five months out of date? Their explanation - and this is a quote - "The database backup has been skipped few tables due to error with the database tables." Apart from making no sense, it sounds like total BS. Plus one would think that if a company that is supposedly providing backups is encountering errors for several months, THEY WOULD TELL YOU they are having issues. And fix them! Their final word salad of an answer was "While restoring the database only we found the tables were corrupted and the backup failed to restore, At this time we only have the following date "09/18/2024". backup which is valid." So they are saying that every single backup - and these are supposed to be daily - is corrupted. Today is February 7th. Over 100 backup files? It's pretty obvious they dropped the ball - again - and have not done any backups since they migrated servers. Email is a mess - they've been on a couple of blacklists for over two years. The only way around this is to pay for their "enhanced email system." If you pay for that, your email will go through Sendgrid - but they can't fully integrate it into their system. You won't get bounces or errors so have no idea if your mail is actually arriving. Would I recommend them? Only if you don't care if your site is actually up and running. Edit: I see there's a response from them. I'm still waiting for an explanation on what happened to our databases and why they stopped doing backups. You'll also notice it's pretty much the same going back YEARS.

My website continuously goes down with a 500 server error. They have the worst customer service. The employees speak broken English and are very hard to communicate with. They never have a solution for my problem. The only way they will communicate is through email and issues never get resolved I have email several times to cancel my service and make sure it does not renew automatically and never get a response. 0 stars

Comb through the contract with a fine tooth comb... if you run into one of their policies you are SOL. paid for service for a year, used it sparingly and then when I noticed my bank statement the following year I requested cancellation and reimbursement. A reasonable person would assume that a company "dedicated to customer service" would have no problem with this..... turns out that is trash. My service auto renewed 7/24/24 and within a week I was on the support chat being told...."it wasnt 30 days prior to renewal.... cancel next year." Best advice..... Find another provider that has incredible customer service reviews because this one sucks.

Really terrible. I've been with them for years. Last two years, competence went all to hell. Every other month there is a new issue. The worst was when they upgraded their servers.I wondered why my site visitors fell off a cliff. Finally figure out that they had blocked all bots as a security measure -- , including Googlebot,! Once I informed them, it took another 2 weeks for them to correct it. I lost 80% of my Adsense revenue. Functionality continually disappears. PHP and CFM will suddenly quit working because they don't seem to know they should update it when upgrading the Windows server. Haven't been able to FTP or use Plesk to manage my files for a month. File permissions is web-hosting 101. No accountability. I asked for a discount or some form of compensation for the downtime. Or at least, take responsibility. Crickets... Ugh...
