How and why the Justice Department has not filed charges against this company I'll never understand. They must have bought Yahoo's former web hosting service company and though we haven't used Yahoo's hosting service in years they started charging our credit card. If you look at the reviews here, it seems almost every review says the same.

Locked out of my deceased husband's account. Provided all the legal documentation they requested to get in unlocked six months ago. Multiple phone calls and promises that the "legal" team was dealing with the issue. Still can't access the account. They are thieves! No stars. I will contact consumer affairs for California next.

The absolute worst. I originally signed up with Yahoo! at $5.99/month. Was a customer for 25 YEARS. then suddenly: sep 2023 $14.99/month! july 2024 $23.99/month! They quadrupled my monthly fee! I didn't catch this for a year. My website has nothing but a few pictures from my trips. I called their customer support furious. They refuse to give me a single penny of refund. This is how they treat their customers. Now in the process of cancelling.

More deserving 0* than 1*. Avoid at all cost. Over the first two years with them since they acquired Yahoo Small Business they "managed" to lose my DB as well as two Wordpress instances. When I noticed things were wrong after a few weeks they told me they had no backup older than 30 days. As I did not make any changes they did something on their end that had all these elements removed. Technically unsafe. On the commerce side, Turbify announced a price for my hosting plan but charged 50% more without notice. After contacting their teams several times they finally agreed to refund the difference. Following year they announced another 50% raise for the plan, the price having doubled in just 2 years. Needless to say I moved the site to a new hosting company right away and restored the DB and blogs from personal backups. Very poor value for money.

2022 $14.99 2023 sept 29.99 2024 July $35.99 Make sure you delete your payment method when you cancel. Prices are out of control. Old Yahoo went completely to hell. I've been with them for well over 20+ years. I'm done now, whatever they call themselves.

Email went down so I called support. Sai (I assume from India based on accent) was trying to help me but had to verify my account he said I sent a password reset code to your email can you check it? ... no I can't log on oh ok let me send it to the other email on the account ... no I can't log on. Ok let me send it to your phone number what is the 6 digit number? Are you serious? You better ask me my address or something or get me your supervisor cause your trying to steal my account.. asks me for my name and a security question. Then I felt a little better but up until the security question I wasn't even sure it was turbify! Must be a scam center relabeled support center. Must be a better way to verify who you are talking to is from that company other than check the number on the website... is this not the number you dialed? I can't believe how bad scammers are. Just to have a business these days you have to put up with people from other countries trying to steal when you just want to be seen by people from your town. Oh and the website I designed using their tools does not work even in the slightest. I'm lucky I got our name and number to show This is not in anyway an option for anyone not fluent in websites or anyone in general.

Do NOT ever use this company to host your domain period. I've had case # 02027324 open for 10 days to do something every single one of their competitors allows - assign a domain to a new website. My org website 2 weeks ago had an text error produced by their server - the only thing showing on the site is this error message. They said they could not fix the error & asked me to create a new web page. Once done they said they (because you yourself do not have this ability on their dashboard) will re-assign the domain to the new web page. Been 10 days now & they still have not done this despite multiple promises to do this. I would give this zero stars vs one if the option was available. Please do yourself a favor & use GoDaddy or literally any other web host.

Singularly, the worst hosting company I've seen in the last 10-15 years. A client of mine is their customer, for now. Not only did the price increase astronomically, but when he called them for support (offshore, with a thick accent which was nearly incomprehensible), they did something which decoupled the business mail from the Yahoo Mail (where it had been for 15+ years). There was also a questionable $119 charge attached to the already exorbitant bill for hosting. Turbify said that 'this was a glitch in their system' and that it couldn't be fixed, but it would be refunded once paid. I advised my client to pay it and report them to our AG for possibly running an advance fee scam. I also advised him to get away from Turbify ASAP.
