Mill 77 Brewing

Mill 77 Brewing in Amesbury, MA for a full pour & a few tasters. This is my fourth visit here since they opened a few years ago now. Amesbury has been a excellent brewery hub for years now especially with Newburyport, MA & Exeter, NH right next door offering a bunch more brewery options as well. These guys were kicking ass making great beer right from the start & it's just been getting better with every visit. I've seen Mill 77 popping up on tap at a couple of my favorite spots & have been seeing the cans in stores much more recently so they're definitely headed in the right direction distribution wise. The four beers I got this trip were all different styles so I could cover the whole gambit of what they offer for this write-up. I grabbed a pint of the MUNICIPAL German Pilsner which was a good, above average crisp pilsner. I then scooped a 7oz pour of a few different beers starting with the "ALL THAT" FRUIT PUNCH Sour that was delicious & had plenty of flavor without being overwhelmingly bitter. The second 7oz I got was the HAPPY HOUR HERO IPA, it was good, but just average for these guys IMO I've had much better from them IPA wise. The third & last 7oz pour was the MIDNIGHT IN SICILY Pastry Stout which was excellent for a light ABV% stout. I'm extremely spoiled when it comes to stouts & usually don't like anything under a 8%. Great friendly staff everytime I have visited over the years with plenty of different styles & offerings rotating pretty consistently. I can come in yearly & find six or more new beers to me I haven't had even when I drink some I find on tap & can in the wild. All the seating options between bar, tables & hightops & also a area for a pop up kitchen in the taproom. Great spot, highly recommend checking them out, I know I'll be back sooner than later since moving to the NH seacoast area. We love Mill 77- our favorite local brewery! They have a huge variety of beers and we have never had one that was not delicious! Last night we had a wonderful conversation with Craig, an owner, about beer and other things and the bartender, Jessica, was fantastic. We love the live music too! Must visit in Amesbury!

Such a great spot! Beer is top notch. Bartender was lovely and picked excellent beers for us. Keep an eye on this place, have a feeling they'll be doing big things.

My wife and girls threw a surprise Bday party for me last Sunday afternoon. It started with about 15 people and grew to 35! Michael at Mill 77 was awesome. So flexible with arrangements! We had an amazing time and the beer was great as usual. They even stayed open late to help accommodate. We've been there a few times before but it's our new go-to when we're in the Amesbury area! Thanks, Michael. BTW the bartender was fantastic. Unfortunately I don't know her name! Please thank her for me!

Mill77 has possibly the best beers in Amesbury. The other 3 breweries in town are great too, but Mill77 consistently has the best breadth and quality of selection. Great bands and food trucks are a plus too.

Great spot for craft beer! Love the variety and beer is fantastic. Lots of space to hang out and a fun outdoor area that is pet friendly. Highly recommend!

Love the interior...super spacious and beautiful! Staff is super nice. They have a really cute outdoor area with corn hole and lawn chairs (I haven't been out there yet because it's been so cold but can't wait for the warm weather!) they don't have food but they have food trucks some days. Beer is really good, my favorite out of the breweries in town! Great location, only minutes from downtown. They have a large parking lot behind the building.
