We have been trying to cancel an account with them for over a year now that a past employee used her own email to start thus we cannot get in. Every month we are being charged and they are ZERO help. We've emailed various times back and forth with support. It is clear they do not have a process for lost accounts. We have dealt with aa similar issue in the past with UberSuggest and they had such a streamline process for helping us find the account our credit card was being used in. We just provided them the last 4 digits of our credit card number and name on the account, the last charge amount and they found our account and reset the email so we can get in to cancel it. It's honestly absolutely ridiculous that a company like Klavyio cannot be more supportive and helpful to small businesses. Being charged every month for something we cannot get into is a scam. We're spent over $1000 in fees over the past year for an account we can't get into!

They blame issues on your payment details when they skip paying your agency fees and then you go to the partner portal and not only is there no notification, there's also no section where you can double check your payment details. All you can do is submit your payment details and hope for the best. I'm now one year behind with my overdue fees... I've now seen they launched a new payment platform: I wonder how long they've been operating with an unfit platform and delayed payments and if it was worth all these one star reviews...

Worst email product ever. Unethical, terrible service. We were using this for one of our clients and they shut down our email for no reason and never turned it on again. we tried to cancel for months and they kept charging us. We use other products now and have never had an issue. Most modern companies let you cancel from your account. not these guys. it is a multi step process and they never stop charging you. They should not be allowed in the shopify app store

Jana at Klaviyo treats customers horribly. The millions of dollars invested by Shopify clearly isn't enough to pay for decent humans to staff the company. They refuse a refund of $60 because they said it costs the company too much money to host our 300 contacts. Anyone using Klaviyo should move to HighLevel immediately so they don't get treated Iike absolute trash the way Jana and Klaviyo treated us. To quote Jana, "I apologize for any inconvenience but I hope this provides you with the clarification you were looking for." Clarification in this case is why to avoid Klaviyo AT ALL COSTS. GOHIGHLEVEL!!!!

I've been using Klaviyo for three years now. Our company migrating from MailChimp after using it for a nearly a decade. It was a big change and definitely an increase in monthly cost, but the abandoned cart and abandoned browse flows have had an amazing ROI. Support has been great with tickets resolved in a timely manner. The KB is really useful and well-written.

Horrible customer support (consistent ques of over 20 people in online chat, 2 day email response time and no phone number - I pay around $1000 per month). Extremely over-priced. Their engagement strategy is poor at best and offensive at worst - today I received an email about the "Low ROI" of my business, which they think they can fix with an abandoned cart email.

The worst platform we have used in this space, and honestly the worst service. We moved from another platform after lots of promises but onboarding was terrible, the staff member had no real interest in helping at all trying to pass us off to the support team all the time. The support is not up to standard either. Support is only available for a short window for us as we are outside of the US and when we login there is usually 50-70 people in front of us and we are waiting up to an hour for help that is actually not helpful either. We are now looking to go back to our previous provider, I wouldn't touch these guys with a barge pole.

I really wanted to like Klaviyo. I attended an event to learn more about their platform, as I've had good experiences with other email marketing companies but thought Klaviyo would be a better alternative. I've worked in events before, and I know how stressful they can be, and their event team crushed it. I can't say the same for their other departments; however. I know no one likes to read long reviews so I'll make this as short as possible. First of all, they require a double opt in unless you upgrade your plan. Not the end of the world, but it got me to pay to upgrade before really seeing how unprofessional their customer support is and how little they care about their customers (despite the illusion they try to give off) I was having trouble with my opt ins, which involved using Zapier to Zap the leads into an email list. It's an extremely basic function that is essential and I've never had any problems doing with Activecampaign, getresponse or mailchimp. With Klaviyo, only about 30% of the opt ins actually made it to the list - At complete random. I brought this up with customer support and I had 5 reps inform me that I was wrong and things were going through from their end. Joshua was condescending and told me to check my spam folder, like I hadn't already. I told Joshua he should try opting in and he wouldn't. Instead he tapped out and made me re explain the situation to another rep, who did the same thing and forwarded me to another rep. Finally I got Sidd to at least attempt it, and when they finally realized this was their error, I received no apology and they told me the problem was with Zapier sending potential "list bombers" to Klaviyo so they would block certain IP's - seemingly at random. I've never in my entire life had an email marketing company block sending 70% of opt in emails, let alone deny it was happening for so long. Zapier is an extremely important integration for most marketers and I don't understand why they would create a partnership that is basically inactive on Klaviyo's end. This company is straight up trash and I'd give them 0 stars if I could and if it wasn't for their events team. They claim they block emails "for your benefit," as it prevents spammers but they refuse to acknowledge that they're preventing my customers from receiving their products as well. I reached out to Zapier as well, and they say they use AWS-IP, which is the largest player in the space and there's no reason for the emails to get blocked, and I believe them. Klaviyo told me Zapier needs to reach out to them to resolve the issue, and Zapier says they're not going to reach out to Klaviyo, because their part of the integration is 100% fulfilled.
