New Bedford Food Tours

We took the fall river food tour this week. Wasn't sure what to expect, But it surely beat our expectations! Oh, that was a well informed, Fun, Gregarious host Who manage our group. And although we only covered a few blocks, it was interesting and fun Hope to do the same in New Bedford sometime soon

Deb was a really good host. really enjoyed trying food from all over the world that represents the city diversity and appreciated being told the history of new bedford while doing this food tour.

A great way to experience a cross section of some tasty Fall River cuisine (food AND drink), learn some history, and get a little exercise. Totally worth it! I want to go on one of the New Bedford tours they offer next.

History, food, and booze....what more could you want! -- Pam and her team have put together a great tour of New Bedford. I feel as if the city has been opened up to me and I understand and appreciate the city on a deeper level. The tour itself is 3 hours and well worth it. Make sure you come hungry as Pam will be sure to feed you right! Did this for my birthday and as Pam stated during the tour it will change throughout the year so I am looking forward to coming back in the future to see what has changed!

This tour is fantastic!! A must even if you are a local. We had a local on my tour, and one of the places we went to was one she'd always wanted to try, and another was one she had no idea was there! All stops are fantastic, and Pam is such a great history teacher too, connecting the history of New Bedford with the food. Of note, I have almost no cartilage in my knees, and the 1.5 mile walk was completely fine for me. You walk a bit, then sit and have some food. Walk a bit, then sit and have some food. Totally worked, and the terrain is also mostly flat--I had zero issues, even with problematic knees. Thank you to Pam and New Bedford Food Tours for one of my most memorable excursions while visiting Cape Cod!

This is a wonderful food tour. It combines hidden gem restaurants and shops along with the many-layered history of New Bedford. Pam was our guide and she was so personable and knowledgeable. New Bedford has a wonderful arts and up-and-coming promise of this charming city. You'll love the architecture, the cobblestone streets and gas lamps - as well as personally meeting many of the restaurant owners who take such pride in their cultural cooking. Go! You won't be disappointed. It's a 3-hour tour that goes by in a flash! A great value!

Knowledgable, enthusiastic tour guide! The food was delicious. Great information about New Bedford and it was not about just the whaling industry. Learned alot, made some new friends and went home with a smile and a full belly!

Our guide Pam was great. She is a real New Bedford local and shared some great lesser known history of the city. The stops were perfect. Starting with savory ... then sweet ... and then a sweet ending. The restaurant choices were great showcasing the ever increasing excellent food scene in this historic town. We had a great time and would highly recommend the tour. During this tour Pam told us about another tour in Fall River focused on Portuguese cuisine ... we will be signing up for that one as well !!
