My internet connection stopped working yesterday. After I spent two hours on the phone with Comcast trying to get an actual person to speak to me and making me jump through many hoops to no avail, they finally made an appointment for a technician to come out in 5 days. I then called the Geek Squad and they could not come out for two weeks. I then did some research and found North Shore IT. I called, John answered the phone and he was able to come out in the afternoon on his way home. My internet was up and working within an hour after replacing a couple of cables and a switch. I would recommend North Shore IT highly and I will never go through Comcast or the Geek Squad again.

John was great! When my computer stopped working he answered my initial call right away and got to work on it the same evening I called. He was able to diagnose (unfortunately it was dead on arrival) and recover all my files within a few hours and gave recommendations for a replacement. When I had my new computer set up he made a house-call to transfer everything over. If you're in a computer crisis and looking for someone who works fast, is thorough, and really knows their stuff, John is your guy!

John was referred to me from a neighbor. John has great experience and set up a new computer and printer that were just what I needed. With his knowledge, John has enabled me to do all my work at home. When I have any questions, John always has all the answers and comes to my home.

John certainly knows his way around a PC. Cleaned up my computer, moved it successfully from upstairs to down, updated my print app and generally fixed long existing problems. I will definitely continue to use his services as he is fast, on-time and explained in simple terms what he was doing.

John is excellent, responsive and efficent. He helped me select a new business laptop and new business and security software when my very old laptop had a fatal crash, as well as a home network for my transition to remote practice in early 2021. More recently, he responded promptly when our home network was hacked, checked and sanitized our laptops and installed a new, more secure network. In both cases, he acquired and installed the equipment, saving us a lot of time and effort trying to figure out the optimal configuration. John has also responded quickly when questions or minor issues have arisen. I think his hourly rate is quite reasonable for his level of skill, knowledge and experience. John was extremely fast to respond to my initial request for services. We setup a completely new invoicing system and purchased a new computer and additional monitors. He helped walk me through all the steps I will be using with new software. I was very happy with everything. John explained everything in great detail making it very easy to understand the new software. I am super impressed with everything he did and would recommend his services to anyone.
