Vale Street Venue

Beautiful place. Staff was very nice. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that there is no handrail going in to the front doors. Would highly recommend, since I walk with a cane and it's easy to trip on the stone steps. Otherwise, if you're looking for a wedding reception venue or a party place (such as an anniversary celebration), do yourself a favor and check it out. No decorating needed!

Had my daughter's baby shower in July. The Venue is absolutely gorgeous! The outdoor garden area was STUNNING! right out of an England garden. The only decorating we had to do was our personal touches which was center pieces, unless you would prefer to have it done for you, the owner (Shirley) can put you in co tact with her daughter. Shirley the owner was GREAT! she was there when we arrived, and even helped us get everything ready ( as we were rushing) she even stayed in the back office area incase we needed anything or had questions. Location was great and easy to find ( literally right down the road from the Casino) nice size parking lot, back garden area is secluded from road and residential area in the back. There is even handicap access into the building. I've had so many people that came and seen our pictures inquire about this beauty place. Thank you Shirley, you really have a unique beautiful venue.

Married New Years Eve, Beautifuly decorated , amazing landscaping outside, The owner Shirley a pleasure to plan and work with.

We had my daughter wedding and reception here 07/13/24 and this venue and their staff were amazing! It was not only the big things they did, but the little things that meant the most. It was a very hot day and as guests were outside in the heat waiting for the ceremony to start, the owner was outside handing water bottles out to everyone. The moved signs, card boxes, seating charts and all the other important things around multiple times for us. They thought of things we didn't and knew exactly what needed to be done. This venue is absolutely gorgeous, and has so many places for pictures, places outside the venue for guests to sit and relax and chat. Thank you Vale Street for helping to make Emilee and Anthony's day amazing!

Very nice venue for most any event, plenty of parking, very cool light fixtures and stained glass decorative panels. Like many venues can get a Little loud (hard surfaces amplify), but that's typical. Definitely consider it for your event.

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Vale Street Venue and our experience for our wedding reception. From the beginning the owner was nothing but professional and beyond accommodating. Shirley (the owner) was not only available whenever questions arose during our planning process but helped to find solutions. She met with us at the venue beforehand on multiple occasions to ensure that everything would go exactly as planned when our day arrived. The day of our reception, Shirley and her daughter were present and contributed in ways we would have never expected. If there was anything we needed, they were on it and made sure we were stress free the entire night. The support Shirley and her daughter provided to ensure our day was flawless was more than we could have ever hoped or asked for. Our guest could not stop commenting on what a great venue we chose. The outdoor area and especially outdoor bar were a huge hit. The outdoor area is very well manicured with beautiful flower gardens. The inside is planned to every small detail, offering a beautiful space needing very little decoration. Overall, it's an incredible venue with an incredible owner who truly cares about your day. There is no convincing us that there is a better venue in Battle Creek!

We booked this for our daughters wedding reception and there simply isn't enough words to describe how amazing this venue is and how accommodating Shirley and her staff are. The venue itself is gorgeous then add in the decorations we had for my daughters wedding it was breathtaking. The outside garden area is equally as beautiful with a fire pit, gazebo and side area. We had 170+ guests and we never felt crowded, we had Sir Pizza brought in at the end of the reception and the staff organized it when it arrived. I was able to focus just on my daughter and having fun! We needed some fruit for drinks and her daughter ( without hesitation) ran and got what we needed. Our guest count kept changing the closer we got to the wedding and Shirley just told me to let her know and she would make sure the tables were correct. You will not be disappointed if you book this venue! It's perfect for showers, anniversary parties etc!

Watching the transformation of this venue has been entertaining. From Bar to Banquet Hall. Had the opportunity to experience the makeover first hand and I will say I am impressed. It is a breathtaking space. The owners have done a spectacular job inside and out. One really nice thing about this venue is you rent the space and you can bring in the caterer and or bartender (liquor licence required) of your choice. Highly recommend taking a peek for yourself. Definitely keep this venue in consideration for your next large event.
