We've been working with Thatch Computer Consulting as our virtual IT department for several years now and have been very happy with the service they provide. We have a designated primary support technician to contact for service requests (as well as a designated back-up if our primary is not available), which means they know us and understand our unique technology needs whenever we call. The team is very responsive and persistent in finding solutions and/or making no-nonsense recommendations. We operate a small business, but always feel like our service calls are top priority.

Started working with Thatch Computer Consulting when we moved to the Lansing area and our IT from our old location had trouble servicing us at a distance. The Thatch team was great at familiarizing themselves with our needs and then explaining things to us in a way in which we could understand. As a software consulting firm, we have worked with quite a lot of IT firms and unlike many we have worked with, the Thatch team doesn't judge, they don't try to push unnecessary services, and when something is urgent, they do their very best to make our needs a priority. We have recommended Thatch Computer Consulting to other customers of ours and will continue to do so!

I cannot recommend Thatch Computer Consulting enough!! I had an issue with our businesses network when transitioning internet service providers. I called Thatch and while I was explaining the issue and having a conversation with the owner the assigned tech called me. LOL quickest service I have ever received. Upon talking to the tech they were willing to come out the same day but it was not necessary and scheduled to have him come out the next day. He was super helpful and went over everything with me while fixing the issues and provided recommendations. These folks were all extremely helpful and I could really tell they took pride in their business. I also very much appreciated the no-nonsense and no-pressure information they provided. They are clearly not in the business of over-selling or telling you what you don't need. The issue was resolved in less than an hour and our staff was not inconvenienced! We will be using them in the future!!

Thatch Computer Consulting has a staff that have a vast amount of technology experience to draw from. Their crew is very personable, but more importantly they have the know how to resolve complex problems. They have been a great backup resource for our company. They would be an asset to any size company and yet care enough to the serve home users as well.

As a telecommunications consultant, I have known and worked with Kevin Thatcher and Thatch Computing for several years with great results. I come across Customers often who need IT work from someone who does great work but doesn't charge an arm and a leg. Kevin and his Team of IT experts not only know how to analyze a Customer's needs, but come up with fabulous solutions. They interface extremely well with my / their clients, and are always looking for ways to either solve a problem or enhance an existing Customer's LAN or WAN. On top of that, TC is extremely fair in their pricing. Kevin and his Team are very easy to work with, so if you need a good IT vendor at a very affordable rate, Thatch Computing comes highly recommended! You won't be disappointed.

These guys were pretty awesome. My father was in town visiting and had his laptop hard drive fail on him. He needed to get payroll out for his business back in New Jersey, so losing his laptop was a small crisis. I called and Nick said they could get it looked at and turn it around same day, as long as the data was recoverable. Sure enough, I got a call from Nick about 4 hours after I dropped off the drive letting me know they got most of the data and to come by with some storage to get it copied over. The price was super reasonable and it prevented our crisis. To top it all off, this kind of thing isn't even the main focus of their business just a small job they had the ability to complete to prevent a crisis. I work in IT myself and and got to talking with Nick while we were waiting for data to transfer. He was certainly knowledgeable about a lot of different technologies I use at my job. Based on our conversation, it sounds like they are certainly current on what they recommend to customers and different technologies that they assist with. I would definitely feel confident working on a project with them in the future. The pricing that they gave me for the drive required was fantastic for a small job like this. I am not sure if the hourly rate would change for a more complicated project, but I got the impression they would offer very competitive rates.
