Henderson Castle

My recent visit to Henderson Castle was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, everything felt like a luxurious escape, but the massage truly set the tone for the most relaxing experience imaginable. It was hands down one of the best massages I've ever had -- incredibly soothing, expertly done, and left me feeling completely renewed and at peace. And then... the dinner. WOW. The seafood tower was absolutely breathtaking -- fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Every bite felt like a celebration. As if that wasn't enough, the steak dinner that followed was just as mind-blowing. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth tender -- this was a steakhouse-level entree with a castle-worthy flair. The ambiance, the service, the food, the spa -- everything was exceptional. I'm still dreaming about it all and counting down the days until I can go back. If you're looking for an indulgent, unforgettable experience in a stunning setting, Henderson Castle is it.

Enjoyed a morning at the castle with my husband as an early birthday gift. We loved our experience in the spa and Bab and Christine were wonderful. High tea was awesome! We loved the delicious tower of treats. We will be back for dinner sometime.

Some friends and I were enjoying a week of exploring Michigan and our final night was on Kalamazoo so we decided to stay here at Henderson Castle and I'm glad we did! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was fantastic and exploring the castle and grounds was a lot of fun. I hope to go back and enjoy dinner (my ten year old was with us and she has a limited palate) with another stay one ray. We did not partake of the spa packages but they looked pretty great.

I surprised my mom for mother's day with a room, dinner and a spa! She was so excited and so was I! We had a wonderful time. We loved seeing how the wealthy lived long ago. Our room was the Maple room, so quaint and pretty. We didn't know until the next day that Henderson Castle is known to be haunted. I wondered given the age of it...however, it only jokingly crossed my mind when we went to bed and banging started. I told myself it's people upstairs. But, it was wood on wood. A repeated bang, bang, bang like a chair leg thumping the floor. I wish I'd thought more about it, I would have explored! My mom said it went on periodically all night. I definitely plan to go back. It's a beautiful place

We went to Henderson Castle for the 17 course French tasting menu. It was a birthday dinner wish for my youngest son. We had a wonderful time. The food was a tasty discovery of flavors and experiences. Beautifully presented and an overall wonderful evening. What we saw of the castle was beautiful. We can't wait to fo back in the warmer months for a full tour, additional food experiences and to take one of the cooking courses offered.

My daughter and I just stayed at Henderson Castle for her 21st Birthday, and we had an enchanting time! Kyra was so lovely, informative, gracious, and kind. Billy was knowledgeable, sweet, professional, and kind. Alexander was dapper, stylish, knowledgeable and professional. The self guided tour was magnificent! The wine tasting was delectable! The fancy dinner was beyond delicious! Make sure you also ask about the Spa offerings. We plan on staying there on a regular basis! This is such a special, exquisite place! We are so happy with the souvenirs as well!

We celebrated my mom's 80th birthday at the castle. Everyone made this so special for her and the Butler Alexander was amazing! He made her feel like a Queen! He even gave special attention to our little boy helping him with his napkin and buttering his dinner roll. He took us on a wonderful tour and knew so much history of the castle. Our waitress was also amazing! She made sure everything was perfect down to tiny details. She also helped our little boy who decided it was time for his tooth to come out..lol Our family will definitely be back and cannot express how amazing everyone there is. I would rate it even higher if we could add more stars. Thank you for creating such a beautiful memory!!!

I loved every minute of my stay. My Daughter gifted me an overnight stay for Christmas a couple years back. To stay overnight in the castle was on my bucket list. It did not disappoint. We did not eat there, but had done an afternoon of wine tasting the year before. If you're looking for an adventure that will take you back in time, this is it.
