Customer Reviews & Testimonials
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Staff was horrible, listing was not updated so it said room came with breakfast which it doesn't. Then, they tell us room is non refundable, we didn't sign anything that states that. First morning here, there's no coffee. Staff could careless about addressing any issues and there were no customers in the lobby. We didn't get housekeeping. Needed towels! This place is mess and we've will never use it again!
Stay away. Rooms smell, no breakfast, no benefits for Bonvoy, service is horrible, hotel is sold out, yet only one person working front desk. If you are on the fence about booking this hotel, don't do it. Stay at a Hampton Inn, at least you know they are consistent.
I'm not impressed to say the very least. If it wasn't for a business trip, I would not have booked this hotel. Poor room service. I expect to come "home" to a clean room after a long hard day of work. My room has been cleaned every other day. The restaurant is shut down permanently as of November 26, 2024. There is no complimentary breakfast, and there was no microwave in my room until day 2 of 5 nights. Luckily there is restaurants nearby, but unfortunately we don't get any discounts either. The hotel does have an indoor/outdoor pool, that is supposed to be heated but doesn't feel that way. And, the rooms have a stand up shower only.
Dont stay here, No breakfast, cold pool, after checkin we were told they dont do breakfast and the hotel restaurant is permanently closed, After 2 days of no room service we had to get our own clean towels from the front desk. We got told if we canceled our stay we would not get a refund, The four points hotel auto deducted $1000.00 for a damage deposit, we weren't told anything about a damage deposit or a non refundable cancellation fee when we checked in. The manager told we will get our damage deposit back sometime after checkout but couldn't say when.
The rooms and the hotel overall are relatively nice, although there is no breakfast in the morning and the attached restaurant is closed. There were a few stains on the blankets and pillow cases also. They put a $150 hold on my card for incidentals for the first night, and when I went to the front desk to extend my stay for another night on my lunch from work I was told we would need to re-book for a separate transaction. I called them earlier that morning to let them know that I could only stop by in person to extend the room after 12pm, so they were informed prior that I wanted to extend another night. Despite knowing this, they put another $150 hold on my card for the second night, and they have not even come by to clean the room or to offer new towels etc. When I brought up the second incidentals hold to question why, I was told that they "automatically check guests out at 11am" and that they "did me a favor" by only holding $150 for incidentals each night as (according to the woman at the front desk) it is normally $400. So far, I have spent almost $600 to stay here for two nights. This is a nice hotel, but the incidental holds will make you want to go to a different hotel as they are a bit excessive; especially if you cannot afford to have money tied up for a week or more.
The room is pretty basic. Tv has about 40 channels. Room was standing shower only. Hotel previously had a hot tub which is why we came but it's been torn out during remodeling. Pool was freezing cold. Restaurant on site is perma closed but nothing online to say that. Older reviews said breakfast was served but no breakfast. Charged about $50 more in person than website pricing.
Watch your credit card statements. I booked via a third party and found $50 charges on my card directly from the hotel. The staff and manager are poor at best, unable to resolve the issue or return several calls. Looks like a theme from previous review. I was able to get the charges reversed by the credit card company with absolutely no interest or action from the staff working there. As for the actual hotel...no better. Dated, dirty, and in need of repair. Stay away from this one.
Most if not all the hotel under construction. Restaurant in the hotel is permanently closed. I did not see anything about this when booking and booked at this hotel party for this restaurant. Had no other choice but to venture out in the town to find another place to dine which was very inconvenient and time consuming. The walls are paper thin and can hear all the conversations from the others guests in their rooms. Could clearly hear a phone conversation from the guest and the person on the phone. It was on speaker phone and was shocked how I could hear word for word the entire conversation. A lamp fell off the wall next to the bed when I touched it. I was then moved to another room after I reported this. The next room was no better other then I didn't have any lamps falling off. That being said I was extra careful when touching the lamps to turn them on and off. And the beds and pillows were awful. Incredibly ridiculously soft. Like nothing I'd ever slept on. Which of course led to a terrible restless sleep. A sleep that was important to me as I had a very long drive ahead of me the next morning. To sum it up this was a very unpleasant stay and will not return. Would never recommend staying here.
