Budget Host

For the money an excellent deal! The room was clean and spacious with a kitchenette and free Wi-Fi. Non-smoking room did not smell like smoke unlike a lot of budget type hotels. Like a lot of hotels, a little closer to a busy road for my liking. The high water pressure made running the water a little loud.

Positive: Attractive room. Table with two chairs as well as a desk. Negatives: The freezer in the refrigerator did not work because the door to it could not close because of th eaccumulation of ice (needs to be defrosted). I freeze ice packs each night for my cooler for the next day, but last night I was unable to do this. The lever to open the faucet to turn on the water in the sink in the bathroom was detached (broken off). I could place it on top and get the water turned on but I could not get it turned for hot. All the other hotels of this caliber that I have stayed in had some kind of breakfast included. This motel did not and it cost more than all the others.

Bolt lock didn't work. The light in the bathroom had the automatic fan turn on that was SO LOUD! It was also uncovered and a fire hazard with dust clogging it. The dresser had no handles and was inlaid, so no way to open the drawers without tilting the whole thing. Maid service isn't daily. By day 2, we were out of clean towels, coffee, and cups. Creamer was so old, it was a solid chalk chunk in the packet. The walls are very thin and you can hear whole conversations! Running the water to take a shower is very loud, and the whole complex can hear that you are showering. You are right next to a busy road! The beds were comfortable. The water was soft. The TV cable was plentiful. Price was great. The staff was very helpful.

The location on Hwy. 65 was easily accessible. Despite Hwy. 65 being a busy road, I heard little road noise unless a large semi truck went past. The room was absolutely spotless, and the linens and towels were snow white and soft. The shower was very clean, and the water temp and pressure were good. There were both a refrigerator and a microwave in the room (as well as a small coffee maker), so I was able to easily bring along and prepare my own beverages and breakfast. The tv worked well, and the wifi connection was quick and simple. Also, there were windows on both the front and back walls of the room. I opened them in the morning and got a lovely cross breeze. (And also a nice view of a beautiful vegetable garden.) The curtains were heavy and hung past the edges of the window frame. So even though the parking lot is brightly lit, the curtains kept the room dark enough that the light didn't disturb my sleep.

Seemed clean, everything in the room was crooked not sure who does the maintenance but it's bad. The bed was comfortable. The floor in the bathroom seemed like I might fall through. It had cracked tiles and leaking water into them from the shower. The stay wasn't bad but could use some work on the rooms.

Very affordable. We had a large room with king bed and a sofa. The bathroom was small (ok for me but not my tall husband). Need to put a spare blanket in the room as many other hotels do. Enough towels but no extras.

Room was huge, should have made more room for bathroom. Clean, for the most part, probably one of the last places, you can still smoke in the room,,that was good for my boyfriend so he didn't have to leave anywhere. old fashioned Motel with parking spot in front of your room. Mostly

We loved these rooms! Very large! We got a 2 Q bed room. Everyone seemed really nice. Very reasonably priced as well. We used Priceline and found a 1 bed here for $63... No crazy deposits.. oh and when we woke up we had deer out of our window in the woods. Fun to watch!
