Customer Reviews & Testimonials
This grocery store is great! Good selection, kind staff. They also have a pharmacy. They host Halloween event and the Easter Bunny for kids. They collect and donate food for those in need. They host many a non-profit to bag groceries on weekends. They sell some plants spring-fall. They're open 24/7. Great community asset!
Sometimes I genuinely wonder if they're actually trying to get people to stop shopping here. Beyond the prices being noticeabley higher than almost any other grocery store in the area, the quality isn't even good. Frequently expired dairy section products, moldy (clearly for days) produce to peaky at best, no more baskets, self checkout card only, handleless wafer thin paper bags, shelf stable goods not properly rotated, and employees smoking right outside the entry so the smoke blows in your face. I once had the displeasure of purchasing a shelf stable product that I forgot to check the date on, and didn't realize was nearly a year and half expired. I figured it out when I ate some and it tasted foul. When I went in for a refund, despite never making a refund at Cub ever before, the woman processing it treated me like I was trying to pull one over on them despite the expired product and my receipt. A lot of the employees are very chill, but some have a terrible attitude, and I've worked at grocery store for awhile, so while understand it's not exactly a blast, I could never imagine getting away with this much expired stuff and treating people poorly.
I really like this Cub most times, it's smaller and when ever I'm in the store, the staff stocking shelves or just walking around always asked me if I need help. But today the lady working the customer service, when I tried to exchange a product because it was expired she was so rude. I didn't have a receipt and she said how do I know you got it here. Why does it matter it's cub? It was a cub brand and I showed her on my phone, I had ordered from instacart. If she would of just said we can't exchange instacart stuff. I would of understood. Not how do I know it was this store, was the reason. Bad customer service:(:
Why don't you ever have shopping baskets? It's *really* annoying!! I never need a whole cart, not even the small carts. I like the small carts, but I would really prefer you had baskets!! Also, the sale prices on the shelf often do not show up when I check out, and the checkout is often so understaffed Sunday mornings, that I would be waiting 10min for someone to come fix it. Otherwise, the staff I have interacted with are helpful and friendly, please treat them well.
Yikes this store needs help... you can't count on the workers here, rude creepy and old. Expired food hidden far back of shelves... be careful!
Wow prices are wack. I'll just go to Kowalskis, late night manager doesn't even carry keys to get to the Amazon locker. Store is dirty and unorganized. Is there anyone here that gets paid full time wages?
From old milk to 6 dollar sandwiches with 2 pieces of meat and 2 pieces of cheese. The experience ice just terrible. If the terrible situation with the food is not enough just wait until it's check out time. The employees have no problem chatting with each other politely but not the customer under any circumstances !!! They need to clean house on this staff or teach them how to at a minimum be polite
It's crazy how you would think that in this day and time people will be treated fairly. I was offered a position @ this location and actually hired on the spot. I was wondering why I never got called in for hours, just so happened to reach out today to the so-called store manager Jennifer and she stated that she didn't have any information pertaining to me . I know it's not true because I have four emails from Cubs asking me which area I would like to work. I guess I'm good enough to spend my money there but I'm not good enough to be employed there?! I've been waiting since August for someone to call me to let me know about my hours and my orientation and so forth it is now November. They expect me to believe there equal opportunity employers please make this make sense. Cub Foods please put the right people in the right places management this goes for you too stop being biased.
