Getting tech support to call you back within 24 hours doesn't happen. I called because my internet has been down for at least 5 hours. The tech support person threatened me with a possible $120 service fee to me if it's on my end. I said well it's down, it needs to be fixed. After hanging up from my cell phone, I tried my landline and that was down too. I called Nuvera again and support was very condescending about me calling them. I was only trying to prove that the internet is most likely down because our phone service is down. They need an outage web page similar to electric companies. If they had that, we wouldn't have to call customer service and bother them and upset them. UPDATE. I want to say too that the local people who work for integra (Prior Lake) are very nice and the tech who came out to the house late Monday, so Friday afternoon to 4 pm Monday, replaced the modem, which wasn't that old. He was very nice and professional. I think it's the after-hours people who are frustrating. Also, if when we call in and want to talk to tech support, could they give us a ticket number or some type of reference?
Communication is terrible! They cut off my Internet without warning and I work from home on a desk top computer that relies on my Internet. Called and after hours tech said I hadn't responded to their requests for Fiber Optic set up. If that was an issue, they should have been calling me every day and left clear messages they were going to shut my Internet down. They have no problem sending me a bill every month for $100. I am livid over this! The whole fiber optics set up has been poorly handled including, but not limited to, ripping mg yard and leaving it that way.
One star because it's internet and seems fast when it works. Have had the service for 2 years and seem to get disconnected for various reasons every month or so. For example they unplugged the connection to the house when a neighbor got connected and went without internet for a few days with no account credit. Autopay never seems to remain active so they send out late/final notices then disconnect the internet before the notice is received. Either the notice is backdated or USPS is the definition of snail mail. Edit: forgot to mention the switch to fiber without notice and destroying a portion of the lawn to connect to the utility box's in my front yard. They "repaird" the lawn by spreading gravel and a miniscule amount of sand over the area.
Called to have it installed. Never heard back for a year. Moved on to another company. Then they magically appeared and dug a line to our house. No call, then wanted to hook up and we told them we went with metronet. Still charged us for the installation even though it took them over a year.
Once the conduit was laid, the hookup to our home was swift, completed in one trip by guys who understood how to problem solve (getting fiber physically into my home and to the "IT closet"). They demonstrated knowledge, were fun to interact with, never stopped working and delivered a great product. Internet speeds greatly improved over my former MediaCom service. We are pleased to have this service for measurably less than my prior service. Thanks Nuvera!
They don't answer the phone, I have to reboot the cable at least once a week AND the cost is higher than Comcast. That's because they aren't as big as Comcast they tell me. Crazy!!!

We moved to credit river in 2021 and told before we bought the house we would have fiber next summer... 4 years later and I get the same response its coming maybe next year.. it's really hard to do your work from home when you have 30mb dsl... yet the new development 1/4 mile away gets fiber with only 2 homes sold in 4 years... great roi for nuvera... really frustrated with this lack of response in getting faster internet when they promote it so much....
